I was involved in an accident in which my car was totaled and taken to Interstate Collision & Service Center (a storage facility for vehicles). After beign notified by the person at fault's insurance company the car was cnsidered a total loss, I was told to go gather my belongings from my car. I showed up to Interstate Collision & Service Center with the vehicle's title, and 4 different types of ID. An arrogant woman asked me to sit down as I stood waiting for her to finish with what seemed to be 4 members of her family. She obviously had her priorities; play with a baby and her family, before attending customers. After waiting for 15 minutes, I was called to her desk. She found the vehicle and asked for a Texas Driver's License. After I explaiend to her I did not have one, but did have all the records of my vehicle (including the title with my name on it) and various forms of government issued-ID, she insisted she needed a Texas Driving License. I asked what she needed it for, if it was for processing, and she replied that it was just to verify I was the actual owner. She repeated the same thing numerous times and just sat there with a stupid look on her face until I left. I asked to speak to the manager and she replied, with a grin, 'I am the manager'. Then another idiot next to her, her coworker I'm assuming, asked me to step aside so she could help other people. This place is horrible and will do anything to prolong the time vehicles remain there (they charge ridiculous prices for storage). The staff is ignorant, annoying, unprofessional (she was eating Subway), and difficult. I am glad to say the insurance company removed the car from their possession that same day and I was able to collect my personal belongings, but only after dealing with this stupid idiot. I missed school (university student here) and asked my friend to leave work to take me to the distant location.
