Inver Grove Ford and Ford corporate asked us to pay for work that was identified and covered under our new car warranty because our warranty had expired by the time we were able to bring it back in for repairs. We called Ford and they stated that since it was 30 days past when the original find date there was nothing they could do but that we could work a deal with the dealership as they have some goodwill money for situations like this.
We had previously purchased 4 cars from this dealership and Ford. Based on what should have been a simple repair they have lost a customer for life. Another example of why the US auto makers are in trouble. Terrible customer service.
