A Viable Opportunity
Unfortunately, it seems there’s a lot of negativity and false information circulating the internet regarding Scentura, and I think it’s based mostly on people’s misunderstanding of the Scentura Opportunity. I thought I’d post something brief that would help make things clear. First of all, Scentura Creations is a manufacturer and supplier of rendition fragrances. They distribute their product line to Independent Wholesale Business owners throughout the U.S. They’re unique in that they provide merchandise without any capital outlay to these Independent Wholesale Distributors, meaning they don’t pay Scentura until after they’ve sold the merchandise. This is key because it removes a huge barrier of entry into business… Inventory costs. Second, the sales model used by most independent businesses that sell Scentura’s products is that of Direct Selling. It’s a business to business, face-to-face sales strategy that has worked for over 35 years. It’s not glamorous, and it’s probably not for everyone, but it just works. Last, and most importantly, Scentura doesn't ask you to invest any money, it's not a franchise, it's not a pyramid or multi-level marketing business, there's nothing to purchase, there are no sign-up fees. The only thing required from you is your time and hard work, and you’ll get a chance to run your own business. How many companies out there are willing to offer that? It probably sounds too good to be true, but it makes sense when you understand Scentura's incentive: It's a Win-Win scenario for everyone. You get a chance to own your own business, and Scentura gains a new customer, which means more volume. If Scentura only dealt with individuals who had hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest, they'd be waiting a long time, especially in this economy. So they're willing to take all the financial risk. Again, this is not for everyone, but the opportunity is definitely real, and many owners have gone on to make six-figure incomes running their own businesses that sell Scentura's products. Scam
Invictus Management is a scam. Located in Tukwila and Federal Way WA. Please google "Scentura Creations" for full details. I don't have time for a long post but I'm only putting keywords in here so it will show up on any google search.

Scam!
THIS IS REDICULOUS!

I'm a full time student/ Psych. Major - Not an idiot. I haven't worked since '06, so when i came across this ad on Craigslist/seattle, i had to find out more!. I called, scheduled a first interview for the next day, and was super excited! I was told that the company was a "wholesale distribution center". Fine...sounds fancy enough for me! I go and interview with one other person - real quick 5 minutes maybe. We were told we would be contacted later in the evening about whether we would be invited to the second interview. ...I was. They said "Dress to impress, and bring a notebook and pen! You'll be great at taking notes because you're a student!" I'm naturally all excited, feels like they're confidence builders.

I get to the 2nd interview and theres like 20 other people hangning out, listening to some rap station. Girl at the front desk is sorta ghetto...but nice enough. There are construction/plumbing guys in and out because i guess there was a leak. They say they're "expanding" into the Northwest, they've only been around for a couple of months. 2nd interview was interesting. Very informational and fun. Sounds exciting enough. By this time i have major hand cramps from taking hand written notes all day. I would think they'd give print outs or something... no. The interview was heald in pretty much a garage. With heaters clanking all over the place and mismatched waiting room chairs that looked like they were snatched up during an intense session of dumpster diving. We were told that the training period was intended to "build up the strong, and weed out the weak". ok ok so by the end of the session there were like 9 of us called back for orientation. HOORAY! ORIENTATION! "Bring a notebook and pen.." "Turn off your cell phones"..."Dont ask questions until the end". ...Orientation was sort of fun..

We were told to create nicknames... i was "sunrise"...i guess because i'm a morning person. They said they wanted us to leave our bad attitudes at home, and use this alter-ego for work. Whatever...i'm game. Took lots of notes. Learned about the product...vaguely, and talked a lot about $$$ MONEY $$$. Others in the class asked excellent questions about accreditation, licensing, etc. there were "licenses" on the wall by the front desk, but we were told they were accredited through the BBB (better business bureau) - except all of us who are smart enough to research that found NOTHING!. We also learned abou Larry (Lawrence) Hahn. Google him. He's all over.

Regardless, 2 people left orientation because they thought things were fishy. We smelled the perfumes and colognes, were given a list, but i'm not going to stick around for the first day of training. There is no reason why they need my car information, or why I shouldn't be able to have my p hone on vibrate. If they are legit, they should have piles upon piles or file after file of printed/copied informational paperwork, contact information, websites, etc. As another poster said, there's not even a buisness name on the building. We called the other number they gave us for the distribution center in Federal way, and it was a completely different business...LAME!

Don't Fall for it. Or do. Just use your better judgement. Just realize they're trying to manipulate you with their enthusiasm and monetary incentives!
