IOS Telecom apparently is a 3rd party setup that provides services for privately owned phones. My situation phone was in a hospital, mental health ward, phone allowed collect calls which I accepted from patient/family member. IOS confirmed the call was 10 min and the charge on the bill was for $34.96, for a distance of approx 80 miles. A second call charge was $54.96. IOS via phone offered a 40% discount (I guess for me to just go away). I declined and contacted the hospital, who are now looking into the situation. Looking into the company on the internet, they market "high commission payouts" and "weekly commission payments". Sounds like a consumer rip-off to me. I for one am tired of fraudulent practices continuing, and hope to expose such practices.
