Hi I am a resident of Australia and was on the net last night looking for itunes and came across a site promising membership of itunes downloads. The price structure was something like $17.00 for 1 year and $29.00 for 2 years. I went through the process of purchasing 2 year membership and wanted to cancel before i completed it but even though I clicked on cancel the transaction completed anyway and I was billed $49.93 US by mbcontact.com. I received an email from mbcontact saying that I had been billed that amount.
I later found out that even though the website offered a download of the program itunes, which I downloaded it had no other features that subcribers would believe were available from their advertising. That is the ability to download music. I sent an email after reading about complaints posted on this website asking for my money back. I will lodge a complaint with Visa as well.
