This company Island Air Flight School and Charters, based at Toronto city center airport, has a lack of personnel qualification. The owner, Mel Tarsitano, does not supply the school with proper material allowing international students to be facilitated during the training. There is a lack of:
- information regarding the developing of the training over the time;
- study material to facilitate the students in understanding the training difficulties;
- professionalism and commitment in assuring a successful completing of the student training;
- management supervision;
- costumer satisfaction;
- understanding the costumer needs.
This lead to a bad personal experience with this business and some of the people working inside. At this point, after a huge investment made for my training, time spent in this school and time spent trying to deal personally with the owner, I still have difficulties finding a solid and long lasting commitment from the company that will grant the success of my training. I feel as a second class costumer and the non interest in this problems from this school is making my experience turned into an odyssey and slowing it down, all this after spending money in the flight time and living cost.
