I pray to all the gods that the Port St Lucie and New York City Police Department monitor this site to see who the culprits really are. These complaints give a true picture of the many scams that take place.
Approaching retirement, I contracted Island Shore Homes, Incorporated in Port St Lucie, Florida to build my dream home. During negotiations, this builder represented themselves as a professional business entity. I was told that my house should not take more than 12 months to be built. Boy was this a joke! After signing all my financial papers and forwarding all the monies, these people basically vanished. Phone calls were not being returned and the progress of my house was a mystery. After months of delay, I contacted the Port St Lucie Buildings Dept who sent me to a website which showed me all the victims who had contracted with this company to get their homes built. At least 90% of the victims still had not had their houses completed. Some were even in contract for more than 18 months. Upon further investigation, I soon found out that Island Shore had closed their model home in Florida, shunned their contractors and secretly left Port St Lucie. To date, no monies have been returned to the home owners.
Some common names (officers of the company) are Sherene and Richard Parisi and Kevin Kelly. They reside in New York (Long Island) and also operate a Century 21 (Parisi) Real Estate office in West Babylon.
They are nothing but thieves and are known to have had complaints against them in the New York and Florida civil courts. One of the persons who contracted with them, had a lien placed against their house by contractors who performed work, but were not paid by Island Shore. The poor family is in distress.
WARNING: Stay away from any business being run by Richard Parisi (Italian) and wife Sherene Parisi (she's a Trinidadian) and Kevin Kelly (mystery man). They can lure you into thinking they are good people, but they are CROOKS.
