My parents are senior citizens in their late eighties and live by themselves in Delhi. In addition to the landline they also have a mobile for emergencies. This mobile is for use when the landline is down, which, unfortunately, happens a lot.
It is sad that TATA INDICOM does not offer a lifelong or a long-term validity for senior citizens. While my parents have a good balance to make calls but their validity keeps expiring before they can use up their money and the phone is not usable even if there is a good balance.
This is bad business. They must consider a life long validity for senior citizens for whom not having the phone available when they need it in emergency is not an option. I would appreciate if a TATA INDICOM representative can call me to discuss this problem and its solution.
