My wife and I were looking for a method to make a little extra money in our retirement. We received a call from Fortune Learning Systems on January 20, 2011 and talked for several hours with Erin. We provided personal information that we never thought we would give to someone – he was that good! We agreed to pay for the premier service which included a coach for 6 months or until we reached our financial sales goals per our written agreement (we were not looking to get rich!).
On Friday January 21 we again reiterated with Erin our goals. We were scheduled with our coach/mentor, Cameron Pearson for our first session on Thursday January 27 as a meet and great.
In the first session the rules and assignments were given to us:
1.Become familiar with the member’s section of FortuneLearningSystems.com2.
2.Visit WholesaleMatch.com. This site can play an integral role in the success of your business and the speed at which you will be able to see a return on your investment.
3.Brainstorm several possible product niches that you may have an interest in working with.
4. Research various products on eBay and also on competitor sites in Google.com.
5. Track your progress and email me if you get stuck!
Having been in the industry and having helped many other clients reach their goals, I’m confident that together we can help reach your goals, too.
Have a great week!
He also iterated that I had purchased 14 coaching sessions – that did not seem to agree with the 26 wk agreement.
On Friday Feb We got a call from the Business Development Division, 3027 E. Sunset Rd Ste 201, Las Vegas NV 89120. We had a long discussion with Gerald Kubicki and decided to over pay for the creation of LLC paper work, and a comprehensive business pre-underwriting program.
In the second coaching session on February 3, 2011 we learned that none of our passions or ideas had a competitive advantage in the market. There were too many sellers vs buyers when we did the market research. Session ended abruptly. We were to continue with new ideas and research them. We had Steve Neilson sign us up with Wholesale Match.com for access to suppliers so that we could get costs for our ideas from suppliers without having to pay each supplier for the pleasure of doing business with them.
We did the following:
Gary,
Your ideas are looking really good. You have done a great job. At this point, I would narrow down your ideas to your top 10 ideas. These would be the ideas that you are most interested in selling. Once you have those, start submitting research requests to WholesaleMatch and work on getting suppliers
Our client liaisons Matt and Drew called us with an idea to have them create and advertise web sites for the cost of $1900 and $2000 to $9000 advertising. I ask them for a detailed summary of what the original investment of $12000 was for and never got a response. It was my understanding that creation and advertizing was included to meet our original goals.
We cancelled the coaching session scheduled for February 10 because we had not found a viable product cost vs sales and were a little disturbed by the constant calls for more money!
We had the February 17 coaching session which went well but still had not found a “niche” that seemed profitable. We worked on it during the next week for the February 24 coaching session.
There was no February 27 coaching call! There is no answer to our phone calls! The Fortune voice message systems referred us to the web site – and I saw these complaints in a site under theirs! We have been scammed! Hard to believe that a group of people can be so good at making others believe. What can be done?
Is $15, 000 out the window?
