I have my appointment letter with me, but they are not allowing me to join the company.
My joining date is 10 Jan, 2011 and I was working with IBM.
On 7 Jan 2011 I gave the interview to Rucika Gupta (HR of company).
She told me that you have to join the company on 10 Jan, 2011. I asked told her that currently I am working please give me sometime period to sought out in current company, but she told that no you have to join on 10 Jan, 2011.
I put down the paper and join the Iyogi but now they are now allowing me to join the company.
Today also I called Shikha who is AM in HR, she told me that you have to wait for some time more.

scare tactics
Nightmarish is not a strong enough word for what I went through last night. I simply was trying to access McAfee, via the internet, and was immediately having a conversation with someone with very broken english. I had a simple ? about my account with McAfee. I was told that they could help me with it and was asked to fill in info. they put on the screen. I said I only had a question and he said that it was necessary to fill it out. When credit card info. came up to fill in, I asked why should I put this info. in. He said to pay for it. I told him I didn't call to buy anything, I just have a question. I did not put my credit card info. in but by the end of the conversation I was sure they could find out anything about me. I was then transferred to someone else who assured me he could help. Meanwhile no one had asked what my question was. He then proceded to show me how my computer was corrupted and it was only a matter of pretty much hours until my computer crashed. It was very, very hard to understand him. I realized pretty fast that this was all about trying to sell me something. Indeed, a 3 yr. contract was $400 and he made it sound like was there wasn't anything they couldn't help me with and I shouldn't trust just any tech support company. I told him that after I talked to my husband and looked into the company I'd get back in touch if I decided to proceed. I was imediately put in touch with a supervisor and he asked what do you want to know about the company? It was a ridiculous question and I felt like a hostage. I told him that I didn't call them for any tech support and that I didn't like their scare tactics. After researching this company I found my instincts were right.

scam
I had a very bad virus so I called Mircosoft Support and thought I had them on the phone. I was told the service was free and allowed this lady to come in my system remoteley. She brought up the event viewer showing many viruses and trojans. So she installed the super bug software to remove my problems. After 44 minutes she said now that it is time to remove your troubles it will be 499.00. I told her she told me over and over it was free. I asked why would mircosoft charge me 499.00 for a free service and why would webroot do this to me? She maintained she did indeed represnt these companies and told me she will try to get me a discount. After holding for 10 minutes she came back and told me good news it is 169.00 and I will get a 1 year warranty. I demanded she leave my system and take her software out of my computer. She did. I filed a police report and also contacted federal authorities as well. She had access to all of my files while she was in there looking around. I called webroot and never got through so I wrote to them to tell them what happened. I got a call and was told Iyogi has done this in the past but Iyogi does not represent them at all. I tried an experiment and installed the superbug software I found online and found it is not a good virus remover and maybe fake or a scam to steal your info but not sure. The copyright is from 2008. Anyway beware of Iyogi and report these scams like I did.

fraudulent behaviour
This concerns iYogi, a firm offering on-line computer software repair service.
All transactions were made by telephone, no paper documents ever exchanged.
I can only hope that my report corroborates that of others,
see also what a Google search of "iYogi scam" shows.
I subscribed to their services one year ago because I had a PRINTER problem.
They solved the problem successfully.
Their quote for a one-year subscription was $ 40.
When I got my credit statement it was for $ 140.
I never used them again.
A year later, last week, they called me if I wanted to renew. I declined.
The next day, I found all my PRINTER software had been deleted.
I also found that re-installing my PRINTERS was blocked.
I also found that my machine had become virtually unuseable,
because its speed was reduced by a factor of approx. 100.
Calling up a certain windows took several minutes, instead of the usual couple of seconds.
Apparently, iYogi had hacked into my computer.
This week I found my credit card debited for $ 140.
As I understand, keeping credit card information after a transaction is complete, is illegal.
I conclude that iYogi use fraudulent if not criminal methods to cheat customers.

computer
I had a question about whether or not my wireless router had to be rebooted if I plugged in another ethernet cable to connect my DVR. I got on line and looked up Linksys and got a 1-877 number. I called and asked the technician if the router would recognize the new ethernet or did I have to reboot it. He asked me to get on my computer and access the internet. Then gave me a code to put in my address bar. I asked why he needed remote access to my computer and he replied that was how to fix the router. After 1 1/2 hours, I had lost ability to access my internet wirelessly. my router wasnt working and I never got my question answered. Then he said, "I will give you linksys number" OMG!!! I thought I was talking to linksys all along. I had been talking to a tech from iyogi. I had to go 2 days without wireless access and a lot of time on the phone getting everything fixed. A female tech from AT&T walked me through the whole process--without taking remote access control over my computer. What a hassle. And now I am afraid that tech hacked into my computer and got my personal information, birth dates, passwords and soc sec numbers. wish me luck.

no service rendered
I used iYogi to try to fix a problem installing Norton Antivirus. They were not able to do it after 3 hours. I was told there would be no charge. The next day my account was drafted $169.99. After contacting them they sent an e-mail sayinf I would be refunded the full amount. Weeks later and a dozen phone call and nothing. Never, never trust them to do what the say. STAY AWAY!!!

scam
OMG, I did not realize what a nightmare this Iyogi and thought I was the only one having problems. I
was in contact with Norton and after explaing that they hacked into my computer(thought I was speaking with Norton) they scammed me into getting their $169.99 antivirus product. I am somewhat
technically challeged but somehow I thought something was wrong.A rep from Norton called me and
enlightened me as to the scams that Iyogi is doing and I believe that they are fraudently obtaining our
money but hacking into our computers, etc. I have contacted my credit card and am disputing the
charge. Does anyone have Iyogi's address and if Can get enought people I would like to bring a class
action suit against these slezeballs in the state of Florida, so if anyone can get me a address, etc. I tried
to call them and email them but no reply, really!!! I hope something can be done to bring these people
down. Thank you, Mari-k

iYogi technical support
I bought a wireless router and was having problems downloading to my laptop so contacted the number for technical support which was iYogi. Long story short one of their techs crashed my computer. I was guaranteed that my laptop would be restored within 48 hours by their Expert Group and they would call me back within a specific time frame. They did not call me back nor were they able to restore my computer...surprise, surprise. They did refund my money of $39.99 ~ big deal. I don't have a working laptop and now at this point lost all of my information...It is 1130PM and they continue to call me back after I told them I no longer wanted to discuss the situation with them and that my attorney would be contacting them. Has anyone found a way to receive further reimbursement from them if they had their computers crash because of their negligence from their technical support??? iYogi is a joke and I believe it is a big scam!
