Misrepresentation
JK Harris ruined us. The agent handling our case did not represent us well at all. IRS called me directly complaining that she could not get the information needed for our case and I ended up giving the same documentation to The IRS and paid out of pocket 45.00 to fax the info to the IRS, not to mention paying JK Harris 3500.00 to handle our case. We were denied twice and now have to pay the full amount. Contacted JK Harris for a refund, that was also denied. The representative that we signed up with to start the ball rolling nolonger works for them. Besides that, we live in Pensacola, FL. and have been affected by the BP OIL Spill and they are also trying to stiff us. NO jobs, we are now broke, about to be on the street. JK Harris should be made to pay everyone who has complained about them back!

Fraud on their part
They charged my brother Billy R. O'Bryan Jr. $3000 to help him settle with IRS and have not done anything. They refuse to give him copies of the tax paperwork he gave them and after telling him that the $3000 was all he would have to pay they sent a Ted Johnson to the house and he asked for $1400 more. They also have him owning the house and property that he is living in. The house is in my mother's name and according to her will was to be divided equally among Billy, my sister Linda and I. The deed has not been filed with our names on it and probate is over. However the girl at J K Harris refused to take my mother's house off of my brother's assets. And now after taking his money they have done nothing to help him with the tax problem he has. This situation is affecting my sister and I both because if IRS decides to attach a lien against my brother's part of the property.

failure to do their job
i hired j k harris for $5, 000.00 to represent me in a tax problem. david brunell for their company told me it would cover the whole cost to deal with the irs for a audit, and through the copromise deal. when i took care the audit, i called david to see what was next. he told me for more money he could do that for me. i asked him over and over if the $5, 000.00 would cover all of it, right througt to the end of the compomise till the case was solved. watch out for this company. don't be like me!! stupid. do your home work.

Failure to Act
They make you pay up front and do nothing to help you. They change case specialists every time you call and do nothing to resolve your situation. Their tax specialists can't even fill out forms properly and end up costing you more in taxes than you owed to begin with. They fail to communicate with you and then are wishy-washy when you call.
Their charges are astronomical! Stay away from this company like it is the black death. I thought I could trust this company but it is BAD Business all the way through.

They misrepresented themselfs and to over $700 and did nothing
I had past due taxes owed and went to them for a free consult. The man I spoke to promised they would take care of everything. I gave them a credit card (to deduct payments) and signed an agreement. I began calling the man I met with after 3 days with a question regarding what information I needed to send them. After 7 days of calling and no return call I left a message that they were fired. I never sent them any info and yet they ended up taking over $700 before I had to cancelled my credit card. They refused to give me my money back yet I never spoke to anyone regarding my tax situation. They are major rip offs and deserve to have there licsence pulled.
