I hired Janis Kennedy aka. J. Roux Interior Design to design my home, which was probably one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. When we met her she was very cocky but we thought her ideas were good so we decided to go with her...BIG MISTAKE. After endless months of working with her behavior she came to us with the purchase orders and said that we have to pay 50% down in order for her to order the furniture and then when we recieve the furniture we give her the other 50%. So we signed a complete stack of purchase order where she put the orders through to the companies. Well when the date arrived where we were supposed to be getting our furniture, that is when the lies started coming and she wasn't answering her phone calls.

Her lies were all over the place. But we decided to wait untill we talked to her, when we did even more lies. Then we called the companies which we thought our orders were placed and they told us that Janis called all of the companies and canceled our orders. So here we are, a house built no furniture and many things had to be ordered twice. So Janis Kennedy stole our money and we are not the only ones.

This past weekend, we were notifed that she rented a warehouse and was selling furniture. So we went there and thank God none of the furniture was ours but we noticed many peoples last names on boxes that she was trying to sell for dirt cheap. There are so many people who have had this happen to them but she is still doing business. I can not understand how a women who has encountered so much fraud can still have clients and still be doing business.

So I hope this stops anyone from doing business with this women and one day justices will be served !!!

Please people research the interior decorators you are going to use, do a background check and see if they have encountered any fraud, before doing business with them.
