unjustly towed vehicle
I had parked at a mcdonald on mc carter hwy, I had just left the funeral of my grandmother my children ages 6, 4, 2, and myself pregnant of 5mths. where on our way back home to south carolina, the employee from this company was watching me as i cross the street to the grocery store to get change for a $100.00 bill so my kids and i can eat since mcdonald does not accept high bills he watch me then ran an took my vehicle and towed it . I ran being pregnant with my three kids behind him, he would not stop, thank God there was a lady who saw everything she help me and we followed him. As he stoped I try to explain to him since no one at mcdonald had called him he refuse to hear me and was very nasty he bribed me since he saw my children crying and me helpless pregnant and said if i give him 175.00 dollars he will give me my vehicle i explained to him that all the money i had was to get back to south carolina, he replied he did not care either i give him that amount and he would not reported to his boss or he reports it and i have to pay 250.00. I had 172.00 he refused thank God for this kind lady she loaned me the rest. I believe this is illegal and a scam they have because i was not even parked for 5 minutes and went to get change to feed my kids and myself. the guy that towed my car his name is milton, try to speak to the manager no luck the managers name is eddie but happend to be his brother. I believe he saw a women pregnant with 3 kids and decided she is the target, I had to stay an extra day in new jersey until I was able to come up with the money to go back home. This was the worst specially when i had just left the funeral of my grandmother. This company has a scam and are ripping off people. I wish I lived in nj I would have taken action but I live so far, I hope someone contacts this company ..
