I bought a samsung cellphone costing Dh 1259/- from Jacky's Deira City Centre show room. Within 3 to 4 days the problems began. On dialing the recorded message states zero balance but on dialing 121 the balance shown is Dhs 20/-. Immediately I reported the problem to which I was infromed that the sim card was faulty. I got the card replaced. But still the problem persisted. I reported again to which they gave me another piece which had the same problem and the so called new piece had a message aski ng to meet a person some where.when I showed them the same I was told that this happens. Surprisingly when I took he warranty card. They wanted the box or else I was to get another piece of the same model. Why do I take the same model when two pieces had the same problem. After raising my voice they have kept the unit to be sent to the service centre.
My question is if the product is faulty it has to be taken back or no? I have reported these within a few days of purchase. I don't have the box but isn't it their duty to give me another product I am asking for? I was ready to pay the additional amt. But they were just not ready. They wanted the box. why so that they can sell the same to another innocent customer?
Please think twice before you buy from Jacky's.
