This week I purchased a "brand new" Sony Ericsson mobile phone from Jacky's Electronics in Dubai Mall. At first they offered me a phone in an open box and i specifically asked for a new one.
Upon arriving at home and turning it on I found photos taken by one of the clerks of himself outside the store saved on the phone.

I called Jacky's to complain and they brushed off the matter as if it was nothing. Selling used phones as new is a very serious offence!! The Jacky's staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. The manager refused to answer my calls or return them.

I had to stalk them incessantly and enter shouting matches to get a refund! Not one person took responsibility or ever apologized. I raised this complaint to the chamber of commerce and consumer protection.

Please think twice before purchasing anything from a company that finds it normal to cheat customers by selling them items used by their own staff. I guess Jacky's is so confident with its sales that it does not have to worry about one angry consumer. Please spread the word, not to get back at Jacky's, but to create an example that will hopefully bring CUSTOMER SERVICE to this country!
