Not honoring contracts
They are very unprofessional and DO NOT GIVE YOU CONTRACTS THAT YOU PAID FOR. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY INVESTING INTO JAN PRO. We have invested 18 months ago and only made our invested amount one month and the other months we have made less than 30% of what we were supposed to make. Also, the field managers who finds contracts for you practice double standards. They call a selective few whenever they do get new contracts. Whenever they called us for a new contract it would be approximately a 45 minute to 50 minute drive for little money. Also, they have very poor communication skills with their franchisees. Checks come monthly you have to pick them up at Jan Pro or they mail them and you have no idea what your check is going to look like. They have been many times we would pick up a $50.00 check and one time we had a zero check no one has called us to inform us before driving 45 minutes to pick up our check. They are very MISLEADING and do not care about your money. I WOULD THINK TEN TIMES BEFORE GOING INTO BUSINESS WITH JAN PRO. I have been a franchise owner in another state and company and had an excellent experience very unlike this one. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

putting good companies out of business
Unfotunately, as a result of their preditory practice of luring naive want to be business owners, Jan pro causes good quality businesses to fail. Because they grossly under price their work bids, honest realistic businesses lose contracts, customers hire jan pro and become quickly dissatisfied with the quality of the work, but by the time they realize it the smaller honest companies are forced out of business. Jan pro claims complete satisfaction and boasts a 99% re-sign rates on contracts, but this is unlikely. Every contract my small company has aquired has been as a result of customer dissatisfaction with jan pro. Unfortunately, every contract we have lost is as a result of Jan pros' rediculous under bidding. This company is a preditor who operates at the expense of the franchise owner, the consumer, as well as good honest businesses.
