I purchased a ring "guard" there in 2001 for my upcomming wedding in Sept of 2001, and with that puchased their ESP, protection warranty. To save on wedding costs at the time we chose to get a solitare with a CZ instead of it's more expensive counterpart. I wore set together, and they all went into the store every 6 months for their "inspection". Jarods had resized the solitare a couple of times, and finally in 2003 they soldred the entire set together. They also had repaired one side of the guard for a crack on a previous visit. They on a few visits kept the ring to repair loose stones on the guard, all the time being attatched to the solitare. In Sept of 2008 I went back to do my inspection, and to have a cracked side of the ring guard repaired yet again. Only now they REFUSE to repair the ring(s), which they soldered in the first place, stating that I would have to have another jeweler seperate them first before they would repair they own piece~!! I was informed that they do not work on pieces with CZ because the heat can crack or damage the CZ, and that this policy has been in place "forever" and they don't know how my set was allowed to be worked on in the first place at any time in the past. However, now, they will not touch it. Finally, today I was offered a "refund" of my warranty, unless I wanted to have the set seperated by another, then they would fix what was theirs at which point I said I will seek out another jeweler to care for my rings from now no, and get the refund from them. I'm beyond words on this one, by working on my rings in the first place they voided their policy in my opinion, and now after 8 years they are trying to enforce a policy that was "supposidly" in place the entire time regarding work with CZ stones.
