Charge for something I did not OK. I did not order this reward thing. I want to know how they got my credit card number.
I have been charged $9.95 for the month of September and October for some kind of reward thing. I have no idea what this is. I also would like to know how they got my credit card number. Every time I call, there is no one there to help me. I would like to get this straight.

failure to send bill on time
I charged items to my J.C Penny card over a month and a half ago. I kept waiting to receive the bill in the mail, but it never came. I called customer service and they told me that it went out on the 5th of September and I should receive it in 7 days. I did receive a Platnum card in the mail, but no bill. So I called again; they told me it was in the mail and due on the 27th of the month. I decided to go to my local Penny's to pay off the account. I finally received the bill on the 25th, which was a Friday evening and the bill was due on Sunday the 27th. There is no way my payment would get there on time! If I hadn't been paying close enough attention, I would have gotten sacked with late fees and late payment on my credit report. I called to complain and they blamed it on the post office- of course there was no post mark on the envelope because it was presorted mail. They were very rude to me on the phone as well. I just want to put this out there to see if this has happened to others and to warn others to watch out for late bill arrivals.
