April of this year I bought a new Town Home from JCJ Builders, LLC of Nicholasville. Since I have moved into the house I have had nothing but problems with falling shelves, faulty plumbing, door cases not sealed into the drywall, flooring buckling, fist size holes running to the unfilled concrete blocks under the flooring, A vanity made to fit in a right side corner placed in the left side of a bath with unfinished side out, shower enclosures that are buckling at the floor, outside door casings left open at the top and bottom, dented outside doors with rotted weather stripping, the house pops like popcorn at night.
There are busted split or broken off 2x4's used in the roof supports, about 12 large size holes from 1/2 inch to several inches cut out under the vanities and the kitchen area, Pipes that come out of the wall lined up wrong so the sink drain stoppers fail to work because they hit the misplaced piping, all holes that come into the house are left unplugged along with the outside windows being unsealed allowing even more insects a way to get in, the dry wall is for a large part left unsanded and the patches showup like a sore thumb, The shower door enclosures have been taken off so many times trying to get them to quit leaking that the tub enclosures are full of holes and the doors won't stay shut.
The sewage drain pipe was left broken for 6 months before they had to come and fix it, Door frames are out of plum by 1/2 inch and the insulation around the outside doors have large gaps that let in the elements and insects, concrete is coming up around the garage door entrance, dishwasher not fully built in, cracks are coming in the walls and roof, the grout at the front door is coming up and was left unsealed, there are gaps 1/4 inch between door casings and the flooring which lead to openings that allow bugs to find their way in from the attic ect, flooring splitting at one point, dents in woodwork and drywall painted over and areas where there is no paint at all, new commode lids chipped, plumbing in garage is a nightmare and will break off if you bump into it. Please Help me with these problems.
I have called and called and sent a certified letter and they all fail to motivate the Builders to any sort of response 95% of the time any repairs that have been made have had to be redone at my expense. Oh yes the doors are so out of alignment the locks fail to lock, Sorry but I forgot that minor detail.
Any RELIEF that you give me will be greatly appreciated.
