well it all started when i needed a new vehicle and thought a top of the line jeep wrangler unlimited Rubicon would be a good idea because i like going light trail riding and not to mention it snows ahlot out here so 4by4 would be a good idea. about 6 months of having the jeep i have had it in the shop at least once a month for a min of three days at a time, leakey roof, std trans slipping out of first gear, rf shock bushing worn.and slave cylinder leaking. but most of the time i haven't had any problems with the warranty until now. i was taking a slow speed left turn in a store parking lot that wasnt plowed at the time when i herd a snap and grind. i was only a few blocks from home so i figure i try to get myself and my jeep home. a few lights come on in the dash stability control and traction control and my steering wheel was at about nine o clock.i get it towed and wait for the call from the dealer ship. 2 days go by so i call them, they tell me my left front axle had broken at the u-joint/yoke and that the u- joint was gone/missing and that they had to send in pictures to chrysler Canada. 2 days go buy and i get a call from the dealership saying my warranty claim was denied due to physical damage. needless to say i didn't agree and asked y and got an explanation saying there was evidence of abuse and or off road damage and that the axle could handle the torque load of that vehicle and that he had only seen on other jeep that had come in like that. he suggested if i had any issue i should phone Chrysler Canada customer service. so i did and they told me they would investigate and get back to me with in 24 to 48 hours. so i get a call the next day from Chrysler Canada telling me that my claim was denied and that this would be the end of it and there was nothing else i could do.i also must add that i haven't done any trail riding a month prior of those pictures. and that theres is NO physical damage to the axle housing and srounding area. so my question is are they right? can they just deny a clam at will with no evidence except of a piece of mud and scraped skid plates?
attached are pictres of the damage taken by the dealer ship and sent to chrysler canada
