i was hired by this person jessie zhang back in april last year. I WAS the only employee in the office.
she misclassified me as self-employed. ask me to buy office supplies out of my own pocket once every 2 weeks. she refuses to buy it herself. i already think she's a scam artist because she's the only one that would ask something this unreasonable. i worked there for 3 weeks, thinking this is a mistake. she screamed at me over phone, after she finished her screaming, she tells me she under stress or company is still new, i have to put up with it (hell no!)
she asks me make off office hour call, didn't pay me any OT nor wage. like she can manipulate my working hours however she wants w/o paying me anything.

she asks me to buy calling card for her in the 1st week of work out of my own pocket. i was reimburse 2 weeks later, but the paycheck was 3 days late. and she insist on giving me back my paycheck (which i am supposed to get it 3 days ago) right before I left for home (6pm) on next monday. hello... shouldn't it be on my hand in the morning? or should i say 3 days ago? why does she think she can hold my salary? her excuse was she didn't bring her checkbook.. and oh.. that's the 1st paycheck, imagine what will she say next? she didn't bring her brain?
then that week, she asked me again to buy witeout for her office. i did on the next monday. she then start saying mean things to me, screaming over the phone. i won't take this crap anymore. i fire her on the spot.

she asks me for email account I REGISTERED using MY OWN INFO on yahoo. i refused since it's the only proof i have that i can prove I WORKED FOR HER for that period. who knows what else would she deny now. she then deny i ever worked for that period. because there are emails from her for the WORKS I'VE DONE FOR HER. she said "she didn't know i work for her" and refuse to mail me my paycheck. she threaten to call cop on me and sue me. can u believe it? she refuse to pay me and threaten to call police... wow...

she still haven't paid me since last april . i then went to dept of labor, they called, she still insist she didn't hire me, doesn't know i work for her, but she surely remember to ask me for my email account password. (probably for deleting the only proof that hold against her). so she can make it legal and refuse to pay me because I WORK THERE ALONE! i m the only employee there. the ridiculous story she told DOL staff is "i don't know how she got the key to my office and work there". she constantly saying "i didn't know where she got the idea the email account is hers". well.. i don't know where she got the idea the email account is her when I REGISTERED USING MY OWN INFO to open it. how dare her imply that i m crazy? she also told the dol staff she would sue. which she never did. the dol staff wasn't helpful . i filed the complaint to dol, but haven't heard back since May. i m going for legal remedy now. i won't wait any longer for this crap to resolve.

for those of you who ever interview with her. run for the hill. sure, she was nice, very polite, always smile AT FIRST only. later, u'll find she's mean, exploiting employee, bully. she always told me she was getting used by other people. but from what i heard is she was trying to use other people's stuff for free, they refuse, she's sour grape and saying they took advantage of her.

she will lie and deny right to your face (lied to dol staff) even when i still have email account, image what will happen if i no longer posses the email account? will i ever see the paycheck while i waited at home? oh. did i mention she ask me not to email her anymore after she refuse to pay me?

so suppliers? u want that?

she has an office in midtown, new york. but she goes for these business name. i personally think she's a scam artist. the buying office supplies scheme.. well.. i won't work unless i have employment agreement on hand. no more shit!
