Jettis International are using Euro Payment Group in Germany, similar to PayPal, to collect payments fraudulently obtained from unsuspecting bank card holders. There is an association with a web service in Consett, County Durham, England, United Kingdom in maintaining the porn sites within United Kingdom and Europe. However, that said, innocent webhosts can be emulated and fake IP addresses used.
How do I know this ?
On August 4th 2010, $39.17 USD = £24.17GBP was taken from my bank account fraudulently. The transaction ref. EPG.BILL.COM was against the statement entry.
I have not subscribed to or made enquiry with Jettis and certainly do not look at porn.
I have contacted EPG who have been extremely helpful and have blocked Jettis in making transactions.
Further, EPG are refunding myself the full amount taken from my account.
I have contacted Jettis, only to be given the run around, but I have told the monkey on the other end to expect a fraud enquiry.
I also intend to have this outfit and its websites closed down. I have the registrants and registrar details, together with message sources of origin to trace ISP.
Via US and international Law the violations will be investigated and I will make sure they are to the full.
Fraudsters are weak and hide when questioned or hounded. They hide and wallow in their own shit and Jettis is precisely, that.
They have the guts to take money, but no guts to answer questions. Well I have only just started and it does not matter where I am in the world, because they had better keep looking over their shoulders and keeping out of dark corners, because I will make it my vested interest, legally of course, to snare them.
In the meantime, I urge caution to everyone using internet services, particularly when making online purchases, to be vigilant and use respectable secure companies, together with a good computer security system.
Be particularly careful when using Wireless laptop or desktop as the signals can be filtered off, if not configured for a secure network.
The following is the communication I have had with Jettis International.com Please note the newest message and replies are foremost:-
Dear Sirs,
In view of your apparent evasive and unscrupulous conduct, I will now instigate inquiry into your internet accounts and personnel.
I do not hide behind the screen of a computer. I give my right and proper name in any pursuit I undertake. Fraudsters hide !!
When I ask for information about any details you hold and services the payment was for, I expect that information to be forthcoming, without delay.
I do not suffer fools gladly and I am no fool.
I do not need to use profane, obscene or abusive language to make my point clear, but use of the english language and applicable laws are mightier than the sword.
The payment clearance houses used to obtain monies fraudulently by your institution will be given informations and it is they that have been defrauded also to bring action against you.
The Federal Law of the United States of America and International Law will be cited via the appropriate jurisdiction of the Home Authority.
I will pursue issues vigorously and relentlessly to testify in a court of law.
I put you on notice that a criminal action is to be sought and your internet accounts closed to satisfy an inquiry into the violations.
