I recently purchased a bridal set from Jewelry Television. The set was advertised as a 1.50 ctw sample diamond bridal set from a diamond buyout in New York. Because it was a sample from a leading New York firm it was advertised as exquisite diamonds. After receiving my purchase from JTV, I was delighted with what appeared as a beautiful diamond bridal ring set. The primary stone was listed as marquis diamond. Here is where the problem begins.

Sizing was not an option on this item. That should have raised a red flag for me but I had purchase from JTV previously and never had a problem returning an item. I took the set to my local jeweler, in Spencer, Indiana. He was to size and solder the set together. As he was sizing the ring the marquis stone exploded. He explained to me that this was an indication that the stone was a CZ. I requested that he return the set “as is” so that I could return the set to Jewelry Television. He informed me that when a CZ explodes that there is nothing left but dust. He did say the other princess cut and baguette stones were excellent diamonds.

For the next several months I tried in vain to get any satisfaction from JTV. Each time I met their requested information they came back with yet another required hoop to jump through. Finally they wanted "pictures" at the time the ring was sized. This request is not only unreasonable but impossible. I never dreamed that I would need such documentation and therefore did not, could not produce it. I DID NOT pay CZ price! I will never order from this unscrupulous, dishonest company again.
