I should have known to never buy the extended warranty!!!
After two more phone calls i think I'm going to show up in person!! Here's my actual BBB compaint:
Filed against :
Jim Glover Chevrolet
Complaint Description:
On 06/15/10 I purchased a 2005 GMC Yukon from Jim Glover Chevrolet (JGC). At that time I was offered a $2300, 36 month, 36, 000 mile "GOLD" extended warranty which I purchased from JGC through Millenium Warranty Company. Upon signing the paperwork with finance officer Steve Madalone, I noticed a discrepancy. A lesser package warranty "SILVER" was marked. I pointed out the discrepancy and the finance officer scratched out "silver" and marked "gold". On 07/14/10 I received a letter from Millenium Warranty Co. recognizing the discrepancy and "Silver" was indeed my current package. I told them that "silver" was incorrect and it should be "gold". Also, a deductible of $200 was part of the terms which I was not told verbally and on which I was not given full disclosure. If I was aware of the $200 deductible I would not have agreed. I was then told by Millenium to contact JGC to remedy the problem. Since then nine attempts to address the issue have gone unanswered. I only have 30 days to correct the issue and it is up to JGC to make the phone call to Millenium Warranty Co. to resolve the discrepancy before it is too late. I am currently paying for the "gold" package and need repair work immediately. Today, 08/16/10 I made the tenth phone call to which I have not gotten a response. I am very unhappy with the service. Thank you for any assistance that the BBB can provide!!
Your Desired Resolution:
I would like Jim Glover Chevrolet to resolve the issue and get my warranty back to "GOLD" coverage package with $0 deductible like I was promised. OR, refund the $2300 back to me and drop the warranty.
