On Friday 28082009 at around 1pm water starts erupting for underneath the ELECTRICITY METER. I immediately call JHB Water and receive a reference number 3538745 and an assurance that due to the gravity of the situation someone will be out shortly. Only after a minor explosion and water shooting 5 mtrs in the air and five frantic calls to JHB Water does a truck arrive at 10.30pm that night. Switch off the water and then leave. Back again they come at 2.00am dig a huge hole place warning tape around the tree and then leave again and have not been back since. I have made over 25 calls to JHB Water. I have begged, pleaded, shouted and literally broke down and cried on the phone asking a company to return a 'SERVICE' THAT I PAY FOR. I am on day four of no water surely there is a constitutional right that if they do not supply water they must supply a tankard? I am at my wits end where do you go to???? When you contact the call centre you are up again obtuse answers and empty assurances.
