I bought a John Eber hair straightner from the mall in Dallas, Tx. It cost me $300 for this hair straightener. I didn't want to use it until I got home since it was in a nice box and i didn't want to risk damaging it. Well when i got home i was so excited to use it. It didnt' work!!! I called every phone number i could find. I emailed every email address, and i mailed every address they gave me for the so called lifetime warranty. The only way i even got a response was the call the salons in California. I have to pay to ship the product to them and then also include a check for any other expenses for shipping back and what not. Even though I didn't even get a chance to use it! I filed a dispute with my credit card company. John Ebers worker sent a statement back to GE money that was a complete lie! I sent proof of all their lies to GE money and it got me nowhere! I spent $300 on absolutely nothing. I wouldn't mind sending in the iron for a new one but they flat out told me that i have no promise of getting one back! why would i send something to them and send them money if i cant get anything back for sure. Horrible company!
