I bought a ck-15w Bluetooth display car kit from a local dealer here in Ballarat, Ballarat Telecoms pty ltd A.B.N 32 115 264 518 on the 03/01/2008. i then had it fitted by the suggested installer . the kit its self is OK but the display unit has given me nothing but trouble from the day it was installed.the display unit is very poorly designed as it is designed to stick to the dash of the car.the display unit kept falling off the dash over along period of time and each time this unit fell of the dash it cost me another install for the unit, however i persisted with this display unit and the installer.he tried all different double sided tapes.all this was done over a very long time and at my expense, it appears that the tape that sticks the unit down does not like the heat on the dash or the plastic it had to stick too!
For that reason it was a long time between advents happening and then out of warranty. the installer shifted the display unit onto the center console of the car out of direct sunlight hopping that this would help, it also fell of the console and it is now not working it appears all the falling has pulled the wires away from the back of the unit. i contacted Nokia they told me to contact the accessory warehouse in Melbourne they were rude and not helpful at all saying i had to recontact Nokia. Nokia then gave me a reference number 1-10803074174 told me to go back to where i bought the unit to show the the problem, this did no good either. they did not know what they could do, as you can see this has been going on for 2 years and the display unit its self is only worth $132.00.i am sick and tired of going around and around in circles and being pushed from one place to another so Nokia i accept defeat and will advise all my friends and the large company i work for not to buy and deal with Nokia and i also will get rid of my own phone and car kit and hang the expense and buy another brand. The time, money, emails, letters, faxes sent over the $132 unit is just not worth the worry, Nokia could have just replaced the unit but would rather bog the customer down with runner round. thanks for nothing Nokia it appears you can not stand by your own product or help your own with customer service with out it being to much of a problem, sometimes it just comes down to principles and not money but for you big companies its all about the $ . what a world we live in !!!. customer service Nokia, out of ten, you did answer you phone so i will give you 1 out of 10. very poor Nokia, very poor .
