Through Mr. Berent's website, he apparently maintains an email list of those who have contacted him for help with their anxiety.

In the latter part of 2005, Mr. Berent contacted, by email, a selection of people on that email list to announce a contest he was sponsoring.

Mr. Berent, apparently for his own personal gain, blantantly exploited and disrespected every person who entered that email contest. When my therapist read the details of Mr. Berent's exploitation of the very people he claims to treat, her response was, "Wow, I took a look at that website and saw his responses. What an arrogant jerk! I hate when "professionals" use pseudo-clinical language to evade any responsibility and then turn things around to blame the other person. That sort of things makes me want to spit carpet tacks! What is worse is that he used people who are struggling with some really difficult challenges to benefit himself."
