ripped off
I am a victim too...They HAVE stolen my money I called them and they did not send me back my evaluation either...
twices this was in july 31, 2010(I went to Miami I wait 10 to 15 working days nothing) ...I called them again August 13, 2010 NOTHING they said the Post Office LOST IT so I called them againg CERO RESPONSE..
THEY TAKE ...ADVANTAGE OF FOREIGN STUDENTS LIKE US, TAKE OR MONEY ONLY..THIS IS GOING TO COURT TOO DONT GIVE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TO NOBODY ONLY IF THEY ARE
BUSINESS FOR THE GOVERMENT GO STRAIGHT TO PAGE AND THEY ASK FOR IT...THANK GOOD NESS I DID NOT GIVE THEM THAT.
BBB IS AN ORGANIZACION IS A BUSINESS THAT TAKES THE GARBAJE OUT '' BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU '' ITS ABOUT ... MAKE SURE THAT CORPORATION AND COMPANYS DONT MAKE FRAUD, STEAL, BAD BUSINESS...

More than expected
I just recently used this Agency for my evaluation needs. It was highly recommended to me by my friend. Everything has been done as promised. The staff is very courteous. Received response for every e-mail sent. Evaluation itself not only gave me the equivalent to degree that I have earned earlier in my country, but explained in clean English about The School that I graduated from (some history facts that even I didn't know!), it's program, and why it is equivalent to the same education here, in US, even if number of years do not quiet match. It seems that professionals who work there know, how foreign Institutions of higher education truly operate. I feel proud of them, of my Alma-Mater and myself now.
Last year I used ECE for same reason: paid more, results were dissapointing- seems that people just didn't know what to do with my papers... HOW TO evaluate them. Explanatory letter that they sent to me via e-mail later was as cloudy...

Incorrect educational credential evaluation, no refund
Josef Silny & Associates (http://www.jsilny.com) has a nice company web site, but when the online application status said "All documents received: Yes" that did not mean much. They still requested a new application form and more money, because the one I sent was supposedly an old form (I picked it up the day before at school). A week later they wrote to me that they needed original official documents. The web site asked for officials documents only, not originals, so I sent notarized copies. Even worse, they did not recognize the right equivalent education in the US, and when I sent them supporting documentation from several sources, including an international database, they said that they are using a different paid version of the same database... At the end they were very sorry, but their professional opinion was such and such (unfortunately wrong), and of course there was no refund. Be aware! Try better alternatives, such as WES (World Education Services) at www.wes.org.

Documents not
HI I had my foreign degree evaluted by this company in 1994. I am a teacher by profession and needed to get certified. I called the compeny to get my evaluations mailed to the relevant bodies only to be told that they do not archive evaluations. I was very upset told them the cost is so minimal to store documents. They want to charge me another $130.00 for a new evaluation
