I'm So Sad

Bad Hairdresser
I have been using the same male hairdresser for nine years with no problems. Last week I had a perm done as always and this week had the usual color treatment. Color was not supposed to be put on ends of hair, but hairdresser neglected to inform shampoo person. Back of my hair turned black. Called him the next day to discuss, went to the salon and he had the same shampoo person use clarifiying shampoo, then he used some kind of bleaching agent in the back of my head, then did clarifying shampoo again. The next morning I found that the back of my head was blonde, red, light brown, and black. The top and sides remained a darker brown. When I called him again to complain, he told me I was "over reacting" and he had no time for me. Today I called him again in an attempt to have this damage repaired and he told me to find another hairdresser! I said that I would speak to the salon owner about someone else doing the repair. He said that he already had spoken to the owner, and that I was not welcome at the shop. He told the owner that I would create a scene and he threatened to call the police. After nine years of dealing with this man, I am totally appalled by his nasty, unprofessional behavior. He painted a negative picture of me to the owner because he doesn't have the nerve to face me, fix the problem, and apologize for this disgusting behavior. I called the owner moments later and she admitted that's exactly what he told her. I have an appointment next week with the owner to hopefully correct this damage. I work in a professional atmosphere, and am embarrassed by the condition of my hair. I've never in my 60+ years been treated in this manner by anyone. I'm embarrassed and humiliated by the many colors in my hair, the new perm is damaged and my hair is fried! If you need a hairdresser, stay away from Joe!
