Stole My Money
I started out with 85000 dollars, Sept 2008 before the year 2010 had came in all my money was gone, I did spend some of my money, but I never spent 85000 dollars on a debit card, my debit card was used as an admission from chase bank that I spent 85000 dollars on a debit card in less than a year, I was also receiving direct deposit, 8 thousand dollars that year, Chase refuse to investigate, they also allowed someone to endorse money into my account, they have also altered my summaries, I kept copies, it is a scam, they were also charging me for items more than once, the legal system dose not want to handle this, because they are scared of big corporations, I am trying to find me an attorney that is not scared to stand up, and face these thieves, there are many as my self, they prey on the elderly, my checks most of them I never saw them, I was blocked out of my account for almost a half a year, I did my banking on line, they used the excuse I did not have adobe the necessary software, but that was not true, I am a senior citizen, all of my savings or gone.

Wrongful Bank Levy
I unfortunately had to file for bankruptcy in December of 2010. One of
My creditors included in the action was Jp Morgan Chase Bank, for a credit card. 2 months after I filed and while I was protected by the Bankruptcy stay laws, Chase Bank went to court and got issued a Writ of Execution, placing a levy on my personal bank accounts. Money I use to support my son and myself. Chase refused to answer or acknowledge any of my attorney's numerous calls and faxes. I lost almost 2 lbs in 1 day from the stress of watching charges clear my account and the additional $29 overdraft fee follow it. My attorney was able to show my credit union risk manager that this was not a legally prepared request. Chase knew I was in the process of bankruptcy, yet they ignored US laws and went ahead and enforced this levy. Thankfully, my credit union released the levy, themselves. Anyone else have this problem w/ JP Morgan Chase Bank???? I think they should be sued!!! With the millions of dollars this corporation has, they think they are above the law. They need to be shown that isn't correct!

Eroneous External Transfer and fees
When I received an external transfer into my account from my sister, Chase entered it as a negative. In other words, it became a debit instead of a credit. Previously, I had $19 in the account, but now I have $-481. So my original $19 is not even available to me. When I called yesterday, a supervisor named Eric said it would all fix itself by midnight. This morning, my account is still overdrawn and shows $-516. I just spoke to another suvervisor named Diane, who said that I was charged an overdraft fee, but that she would reverses it. She also said that I would have to wait 2-3 days for all of it to balance out. Meanwhile, the $500 that my sister sent is in la la land. I really expected not more, but at least better from J.P.Morgan Chase. Here are the issues that they have thoroughly failed at: #1, allowing a party who has no signature priviledges to make a WITHDRAWAL. #2, allowing that my account be overdrawn, not by $5, or $50, but by $500. #3, allowing this fiasco to continue this long.

Chased by Chase False Robbery/Assault/Fraud
Conversation :

becky: What the...?? I don't get it... why did they chase you? why didn't she want to open up another bank account for you? I

still don't get why they wanted the money back?

Earl: Kathy Welsh(Manager Chino Valley, AZ CHASE BANK) had ego, i went in there and verbalized that my Business was picking

up, then i noticed she giving me trouble with cashiers checks. one day i called corp and told them about a problem with a

customer. corpChase said open another checking acct with us, I went down to my branch, and the branch manager(KATHY W.)came up

to me and said no, i wont authorize that, she said to me "I don't care if i call corp, I Rule this bank, what i say goes, and

corp has no authority over my Branch". I was astonished.

becky: thats crazy, power trip.

Earl: I said "There is something wrong with U and I am no longer doing business with U and I walked out. I went to another

branch, they gave me the money, and receipt, (at this time, i wanted to pull my money out cause of the incident 20 min.

before) and walked out of the building. they (Karen- Chase employee)came and opened my car door as we (my friend and I) were

leaving.
they wanted to count the money again. The funny thing was - when i got in there again, i was told to sit down, thats it,

nobody would speak to me.Nor did they ask to count my money. Then, They got a Call from Kathy W. from the other branch.
I stood up and said, this is bologne, I'm outa here. that is when they Chased be across the street, ran into my WellsFargo

bank and Screamed "Earl just Robbed my Bank", in front of 30 customers.

becky: that is nuts

Earl: I saw people dropping to the Ground, people covering their heads, 2 guys jumped at me and slammed me to the Ground.
oh it was bad, then I was so nervous and crying, the guy told the Chase manager, that Majda Jarovic(manager of Chase) is not

welcome here.she didnt want to leave, she said I am not leaving unless Earl comes with me, so she grabbed me by the arm and

walked me out. then I took off again, she tugging on my shirt, I ran down the street for 2 miles as they chased me in a

silver Truck got caught by 4 police cars, hancuffs, and they story was that she called in an assault, that i had assaulted

her employees, fraud charges, and Robbed their Bank. Which is all False. Kathy W. and Majda and CHASE Corp., in Chino &

Prescott, Did this to me. and my record is clean. Then, that night, I got Threatening Personal Cellphone Phone Calls from

Bankers of Chase instructing me to return the Money (or they were getting fired).

becky: Well, I hope they got fired. Thats just wild, so the whole thing happened because Kathy Walsh was on a power trip and

called the other bank.

Earl: Correct

MORTGAGE & CHECKING
*****do your self a favor-BUYER BE GONE!!! SUPER, SUPER high fees and percentages charged. Have weird people some can't speak the language of the customer area they are to work for on behalf of CHASE. They jerk you around and pretend to work with you to re -modify mortgages. All the while collecting benefits from the government as long as they can (until terms of gov.benefits run out) and then steal your home. Their idea of a remod. trial payment for someone is 3 payments of over $2000.00 each month and one $ 11000.00 for a loan under $350, 000.00 . Like you would even be discussing this with them if you had that kind of money. Not any two freaking customer service representatives ever give you the same answer to ANY question. Even on the same day in the same department. Or if you get someone specific to work with they are never available. They pick up your loan from a different financer and do not honor the original promissory note. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR STAY AWAY -TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
OR set it on fire . It's less painful then letting CHASE service it!

Loan Payment plus principal
On December 3, 2010, I mailed two payments to chase. One check to pay my credit card off and the other to pay my monthly mortgage payment plus a large amount of principal (about $200 less than full payoff). I live in a non pre-payment penalty state and may pay as much principal as I want any time I like BY LAW. While the check to pay my credit card cleared in four days, the other rather large check has not cleared ten days later. Because I was only two days away from being late, I called the bank concerned about the missing check. I was shocked to be told that they are returning my check along with a letter because the check's amount is close to the remaining loan balance. Needless to say, no one informed me by phone or email about the check arriving to the bank. Furthermore, they have the audacity to tell me I need to obtain a certified check to pay off the loan even though I have both my checking account and the loan with Chase. When I called their executive office to complain, I requested to know where does it say Chase may refuse payments close to the loan amount. The lady started lying right off the beginning of the conversation regarding the contract I signed. She quoted unrelated wording and other nonesense until I was exhausted. I told her she needs to be ashamed for lying and for the predatory bank practices employed by Chase.
I simply would like to save you from the unpleasant experience of banking with Chase. Just check for yourselves the rate of interest Chase will pay on your money and compare to any other bank. It is personally insulting to be treated this way. But one consumer at a time, Chase wiil be punished.

Unscrupulous Collection Practices
Chase has absolutely immoral, unscrupulous debt collection practices! Never deal with the people that call you on the phone because they will just get you to admit something in order to take your money in an unauthorized fashion. Here is my story: I had two separate accounts with Chase; one business and one personal. I decided to close out the business account on 11/17/2010, as I was no longer planning to start the business. I went into the bank to close out my account and they said that there were no pending transactions and gave me a check to close the account. As it turns out, there was a transaction, that was authorized by me two weeks earlier, that came through that day. Instead of closing the account, it caused my account to overdraft in the amount of $2040 ($25 in closing account fees and $15 in overdraft).
The collections department of Chase then called me on 12/2 to inform me that my account was overdrawn. I told them that it wasn't possible since the account was closed. They said they couldn't do anything and told me to go to my local branch to figure it out. I was so furious, I went into my local bank to close out my personal account, but they said I could have everything but $2040 to cover the BUSINESS overdraft! I said the accounts had nothing to do with each other - but they had a different story and said that they do because they have the same social security number. I told them that I was in the process of declaring bankruptcy and I was going to add the business account overdraft to my bankruptcy. They the asked if it was my intention to have it charged off, to which I answered yes, since a charge off would go agains my already screwed up credit!
Lo and behold, that was not Chases's definition of a charge off. Upon me telling them that that was my intention, even though I was in the bankruptcy process, they took the money from my personal account!!! I talked to the collections department again and asked them why they would do that when they told me they were going to charge it off? They said, because I told them I did not intend to pay, they were now able to remove the money from my personal account. They said they were justified because it was IN THE FINE PRINT!!! OMG, are you serious?? I asked them why they would not just openly disclose what "charge off" meant at that point in time? If I would have know that they would steal my money instead of ruin my credit, I would have bought additional time! I believe what they did was absolutely immoral and unscrupulous at the very least and it ought to be ILLEGAL! I will never ever do business with Chase in any fashion ever again and I will lobby every person and organization I can think of to have silly practices like this outlawed!

Bad service
How can a bank of this size have their online banking site down for more than 24 hours? This is absurd.

Waiting for loan modification...been 12 months now
Applied for a loan modification in Aug 2009. Sent paperwork at least 6 times to them. They would receive it, but would be "missing pages" so I would have to start over again.

Never have I been given any updates as far as where they are in the process. You have to call Chase, get transferred around about 10 times because no one there has a clue what they are doing. Each phone call to inquire about the status of my modification request took at least one hour and got me nowhere. They would tell me I need to speak to someone in the

"Imminent default" department, they'd transfer me there, then say "sorry I can't help you, you have to speak to someone in another department, since your loan is currently less than 30 days late" and it would go on and on.

To top it off, once my loan became more than 30 days late, they no longer allow me to pay my mortgage online, they took away that option. I have made no less than 8 phone calls/emails about this topic and been given 5 different answers as far as why I can't pay my mortgage online. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get this option reinstated for me, and I never get anywhere. Again - no one at Chase has a clue what they are doing.

Also, Chase randomly decided to pay my Homeowners Insurance (which I have never escrowed) out of my escrow account. I have always paid my Homeowners Insurance myself yet some genius at Chase decided to have Chase pay it. What a nightmare it was to get that reversed. If I didn't reverse it, I would have had an escrow shortage which naturally would have increased my payment. I think this is something that Chase does on purpose, just to get your payment to go up so they can play with your money.

Today, almost one year to the date into the modification process, I got a response to my latest email. They told me that I have been denied for my modification request. Isn't that nice, they take one year to tell me I'm denied - no reason, just as simple as that, you're denied.

Needless to say, this whole Loan Modification Process is a JOKE. What a waste of time and money it is. I thought this process was supposed to HELP people and prevent them from losing their homes. I sure as heck haven't benefited from this process at all.

I don't know if I will qualify for a refinance, but rest assured as soon as I do I am leaving Chase and NEVER looking back.

I will never do business with Chase again, they seem to be the most disorganize company I have ever seen.

Employees wronged
I worked for WAMU until the Merger last year with Chase Bank and have received, nothing but problems, from the head of the company on down. I was a PFR and as you know we received incentive monthly. When Chase came aboard I stopped receiving my incentives although I worked extremely hard for the company made them millions of dollars but they refused to give me what was due to me. Therefore, I am currently working on a class action lawsuit against Chase Bank and there policies and procedures, and mistreatment of their employees. If you are seriously interested reply to this with your complaint and experience.
