I was promised a loan of $5, 000 if I sent in $500 to "secure" the loan, when I was promised the loan they called saying that there were problems, this went on for about a week, then they called and said they would need another 500, I know I sound like a complete idiot for doing this but I send another 500, I was really needing the money, then another week went on still no money sent to me, then they call and said they needed 700 for the taxes on the loan, at this point i had already sent them so much i was completely desperate for the loan and didnt know what else to do, they still have not sent me any money, this was 5 months ago...and not only did they do this, they gave me a number to contact them at and it was a number in JA, which they told me was toll free, i frantically called them over and over and was ignored and then got my phone bill only to see that i had 200 extra dollars worth of charges to my cell phone... this is a horrible thing, I have a 2/ year old son and was struggling and they did this to me, i think it is disgusting, i work hard and was going through a financial hardship i wanted to get my affairs in order and get one loan to make a monthly payment on. Does anyone know what I can do?

I was contacted by Courtney Veach from the company with the offer of a secured bad credit loan. The deposit was $643.04 which was sent western union on Sept. 29th, 2008 with the gurantee that with- in 24 hours my loan of $5000 would be deposited into my account. The next day I recieved a call from customer care stating that there was a problem with the lender and that they would have to find a different one and that my loan should be deposited by Friday. On Friday I recieved a call that the alternate lender wanted another $800 down on the loan and that they had turned them down because thier clients don't have the means for such a large deposit and thats why the loan was needed. The contact at this point was a man named Jeffery. He then told me that he would meet with another lender on Monday and that he would continue to work on finding a loan, but at anytime if I wanted a refund on my deposit to let him know, I decided that I would wait till Monday and if he was unsuccessful to get the refund. When Monday came he said that this lender wanted an additional $700, I told him that I was unable to do that and would like to do the refund, he said to cal him back in alittle while to set it up, I have called and left messages daily with no reply.
