I ordered a dumpster from Junkyourjunk.com after pricing several companies on the internet. Their website said they beat prices and save you money by NOT charging a flat rate. They charge by weight; they had many examples of how that SAVES you money over their competitors.
Here's the real deal: They claimed that my dumpster weighed 3 times the 'typical' weight they had listed on there website and charged me hundreds more than I would have paid for a flat rate dumpster service. There website also claims the charges listed are all inclusive, but then you get hit with delivery charges and fuel surcharges, etc. I paid double what I would have using one of their competitors, but they wouldn't even return a call.
After I disputed it with my credit card company, they sent a rebuttal which included a signed contract with all the charges on it. Hmm... how could I have signed the contract with all those charges on it on the date they dropped it off if it wasn't weighed until it was picked up three weeks later?
Oh, I know...they wrote the charges on AFTER I signed the contract.
Guess what, junkyourjunk.com? That's forgery. I guess the Raynham Ma police will be knocking at your door at 770 Broadway to ask about that contract.
