Our loan was brokered to Just Mortgage in June of 2010. They have been the absolute worst people to deal with and their lack of communication is unbelievable. We signed docs on July 5, 2010 and as of July 12th (a full week later) they came back with additional funding conditions that had to be met for their investor. We cleared the condition the next day then waited and waited. Weeks went by with still no funding or explanation of why. We were told each day that the investor was going to get back to us with a funding decision each day. Each day passed and no funding occured or update as to why. They came back on July 26th with an additional funding condition...insane that they are still asking for documentation this late into the process. We met this condition within 72 hours (required getting an erroneous late payment removed from our credit report) In the meantime our docs and rate lock expired on July 30th and we were told we'd have to sign new docs. We are purchasing a short sale and were lucky to get an extension on escrow to close by August 13th. We are now a week and a half from our deadline to close and were asked to provide documents that do not exist (something about a letter from the credit bureaus which is unheard of, especially since our credit report has been updated by all three bureaus to reflect the removal of the error). I see from other posters that they are notorious for asking for documentation that cannot be produced/does not exist. We are now likely going to lose our purchase over this less than "Just" company.
