"supposed expert advice" from expert CRAIG...
I had an electrical question for a fellow that was a supposed "expert" in the electrical field..."CRAIG" was the experts name...BEWARE OF "CRAIG"...he almost caused me to blow up a transformer i was wiring, by telling me how to wire it without even knowing what it really was...I saw another "expert" with much higher ratings jump all over the screen for it...I just wish i worked with the other expert before i had worked with "CRAIG", because the other expert was right in the questions he began to ask, and this guy "CRAIG" kept repeating the wrong answer...BIG MISTAKE. I use just answer frequently, and have no other complaints besides that...I figured it out myself, but next time I use Just answer, I will be sure NOT to use "CRAIG"---he has no clue...and I never expierienced that with just answer before this guy was on that site...

unauthorized use of card
I had googled a question about my car, and justanswer.com popped up and could connect me to a Pontaic Tech. Ask my question, then was asked how much i would pay for the info. I picked the 9 dollar amount, It plainly stated that I would not be charged unless I was satisfied with my answer, Well, my bank account was charged the 9 dollars, I still have not recieved an answer, so I went back on the site, my balance is 9 $ so i asked my question again, now I was asked if I wanted to pay 30, 40 or 50 for my answer, I asked the exact question, so now like others I will be fighting to get my money back... quite a rip off

no response but charges
Claim to have expert for a specific state for legal but the ones that pop up are in other states and of course receive no reply. I just request to close my account given they continued to ask for a depost which ended up to $60. No way to contact them and definitely disappointed. I had used them before for other questions, but the legal is definitely a joke

unauthorized use of my card
I was seeking support for vista. I was asked what I would billing to pay for a solution. $14, $20, $30 . The deposit was required before any assistance was provided. After a few useless suggestions, I had the option to Accept the Answer to validate the charge. Their suggestion was useless, definetely not from an expert so I didnt accept the answer.
They still charged my card, but I called my bank who reversede the charge.
So fukkk them, their crooks. Do not use them

scam
I was searching for Canon printer technical help, and JustAnswer.com kept popping up as though it was a legitimate Canon service. After 4-5 attempts, I thought it was a Canon service, but now I know otherwise. I spent 2 frustrating days trying to get a solution to technical problem, and never did get the problem solved. In fact, it made the problem worse. And I lost $21 in the process.

Multiple Charges
Was told in order to get advice from a vet I had to place a "good faith" deposit. I did this and received the information from the vet and when I accepted his response they charged me an additional $15. I now have 3 charges on my credit card and I have sent 2 refund requests and still have no response. I also sent 2 requests to customer service to have the multiple charges fixed and they are suppose to respons within 4-6 hours and I have not heard anything for a week. There is no other way to contact this company other then through their email links. I only agreed to pay $15 for the answer put have been charged $45.

Did not accept answer, and they will not refund my money
I used this service, and the answer I received was a simple answer that could be found anywhere for free so I did not accept the answer. However, they will not refund my money now even though their site specifically says that if you do not accept the answer that they will refund your money. This company is a major scam company, and they do not honor what they say on their website. Do not use this site, because they will take your money and you will get nothing in return!

wrong information but still charged
justanswer.com was a total rip-off. We wrote about needing a new clothes dryer belt, and the "expert" responded that it probably was a pulley, not the belt. That didn't make sense given the noise of the squealing belt that we'd been hearing. So the next day we opened up the dryer--and there was the belt lying on the bottom, broken. There wasn't anything wrong with the pulleys. We bought a belt locally and fixed it ourselves for $22. STILL, JUSTANSWER CHARGED US $12.60--for worse than nothing!!

sneaky website that won't let you click away!
It is not until after you've submitted your question that you find out you must pay to get an answer! At that point, you are not able to click away from the page, you will keep getting a pop-up window with 2 choices you don't want, either pay to continue or stay stuck on the same page. You can not use your browser back button to get away, and you can not close the browser window! The only way I was able to extricate myself from this black hole was to use bring up my Windows Task Manager and shut down the browser (Firefox) program.
