I started working for this company with the promise of a six figure income. Right! I am a seasoned salesperson that has excelled in all sales jobs I've had including K-Designers. I sold almost 40, 000 dollars worth of windows for this company and was paid $876 dollars. The company actually had the nerve to say I owed them money when I quit. I requested a weekend off for a preplanned vacation well in advance and come the day of my vacation, they needed me to come in and "discuss" some things. I found out the next week that Discuss meant take a lead on my vacation! Needless to say I didn't come in. This company has a 3-day cancellation for their customers and somehow 2 weeks after I sold a couple 6k deals, because I quit, they managed to let 2 of my deals cancel. Okay, I'll go with that. You don't get paid for training, all 50 hrs of it. They tell you your going to get 200 a week for gas but they don't tell you that it's draw and you must pay it back. They also don't tell you that if you take all the presentation materials and were to quit the next day and return everything in perfect condition, that they will charge you 100 dollars just for using it! Okay, but how about the 25k volume financial assistance bonus of $750 that I should have got, right, the first job I sold was 17K, they canceled and my manager saved it. Great, except he charged them for 11 windows when clearly in the paperwork it said 13! So my 17k sale went down to an 11k sale. Needless to say I didn't get any money for that, but I did have to go back 3 times (30mi a trip) because I got 10min of paperwork training before they had me taking leads. Another deal I went out on with a manager, I was supposed to do the presentation, well I forgot to ask 1 question, yes 1, and he took over for the next 4hrs. After that deal (midnight) he called me and asked if we could split it 60/40! But here is the interesting part, he must have just forgot the discount he gave them or something because after I quit I found out that magically, nobody made any money off of the deal because of the huge discount well, at least I didn't get paid any money for it. Yeah right! Oh, just an f.y.i. when you sell a job, you don't get paid for 7-weeks.
CUSTOMERS BEWARE! EVERYBODY GETS THE SAME PROMOTIONAL PRICE.
Take the Special Intro price, the first price they give you, and cut it in half and that is the bottom line. Well, almost. There is no special promotional homes. It's all B.S.
So after all I sold for them, they managed to get it down to somewhere around 23k, just short of the bonus I was promised of $750. They announced in front of all the employees that I got the bonus! But even to sell 23k and get paid $800 is stupid at any company, one of my deals had a 900 dollar commission so explain that!
BE CAREFUL IF THINKING ABOUT WORKING FOR OR BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY!
My only concern before accepting the job was the info I found on this website, but I didn't listen! Lesson Learned.
