I put a Razor scooter in layaway for my sons birthday. I got it outta layaway a week before his birthday to let it charge. And a week later he was so excited to get the scooter. The kids were taking turns riding it at his party. My son got on it and the throdle on the scooter stuck and my son ran into a corn field. My step-dad took it back to K-mart and they were going to exchange it but only had a pink one. Well what boy wants a pink scooter. I asked him to just get our money back and we would try to find a red one. Well they had an issue with my receipt. When I put the scooter in layaway it was on sale for $99.99. The cashier in the layaway department had to call for someone to get the sale price. Evidentlly, the cashier put the wrong codes or something in because they said the scooter didn't match the codes on my receipt. So instead of getting my money back they did the return as a return with no receipt and gave my father a gift card to spend at K-mart. So I have no red scooter and an instore credit. Are you serious? They told him he could drive to Connersville, which is about forty minutes away, and they have a red razor scooter. I don't think that this was my fault and don't like the way it was handled. I shop at K-mart alot and will not go back. I will tell everyone about my experience and hopes that they don't shop there as well.

I went to purchase a product that was advertized on sale. I did not find the product in the store. If you are going to advertise, you should have the product in stock. My receipt number is 03925 071209 006 14293

I put two items in layaway. Paid for all of it. Had it held at front desk for neighbor to pick up for me she worked there. When she brought it home to me part of it was missing. I called store and talked to someone but they never called back. They say I got all of it. But my niece was with me and she said I did not get the item a limited edition of Bolt DVD. This is the second time I've had trouble with department; and I live on a very fixed income. My neighbor has been checking up for me. They told her that I had to speak to a certain person. Went last night and asked when she worked ( I have to get someone to drive me to stores), was told they did not know. I was also told they had no way to call me to report on item loss. I might and that is a big might use this dept again but not for a while. They have not been rude. Just unhelpful. I love K-mart and will continue to use rest of store.

I spent over one half of an hr. trying to give feed back on Kmartfeedback.com. (You could win $2.500 ) There is no place to take a survey. This seems to be a big scam. I do not appreciate my time being wasted like this!!!

I recently tried to make a check purchase of around $28.00 from KMart. My check was declined. I was so upset. There were other people in the line and they were staring at me like I was a criminal. I was given an 800 number for a company called Certegy. I called and an automated system stated that I had an unpaid check out. I knew I didn't. I contacted my bank and was told that they had no idea where that information came from, but it was not accuate. I called Certegy again and started pushing buttons and was finally connected to a live person. I was informed that my file contained no derogatory information, but because I hadn't written a check in awhile that is the reason it was declined. She used this lame excuse that not only were they trying to protect the merchant from fraud but the customer too. I was informed that I needed to carry some other form of payment to back my purchases up for just such incidents. I normally pay with my debit card, but I received a new one and hadn't activated it yet. I don't carry cash. How can these companies dictate how often you can write a check or how much it can be written for? As long as you have the money to cover it, it's none of their business how we spend our hard-earned money. I know I'm not the only person that this happens too. Can something be done about this company?
