lay-a-way
Me and My husband are both in school so money was tight this month. We decided to put christmas items for our four children on lay-a-way so i could make payments with my part time job. The closest k-mart is 1 hour away and the only one we could get to babysit was grandma who is 4 hours away so we went shopping the day after thanksgiving to hit all the sales and we ended up getting everything at k-mart. Two days before christmas my husband and I and two of our smallest of 4 drove up to get our things, the kids and i stayed in the car so they wouldnt know what we were up to.After about 30 min my husband comes out and says "they lost all our things" i couldnt beleive my ears its two days before christmas and we have nothing so i went in hoping they could find it, not to mention its 8pm and we have 2 sleepy kids ages 3 and 4.After about 3 hours of getting a refund and reshopping with our kids i was in tears trying to find out a way to explain the toys to my kids and trying to sneak them out while my husband kept there "attention". couple of days later i called to complain and they never called me back!! I dont think i will ever shop there again!!!

cleanly, pricing, helpness
1. Sale sign said 3/$7.00 register charged $4.56 ea.
Associate refused to find correct pricing.
2. Store is on the dirty side, needs to be cleaner. Some dirt in places, trash from stocking items in isles.
3. Lack of help to find things, what department, in general anything, anywhere.

Charges wrong prices
I went to El Paso over the Christmas holidays. While there I shopped at K-Mart twice, both times I was over-charged. I was charged a different price than what was on the shelf. And then had to stand in line for customer service. I am handicapped and I was kept waiting for a representative, then someone to go check, and then to be told the higher price was correct. Very rudely in fact, like I must be a complete idiot. The next time I went they over charged me again but it was corrected. After another long waiting period. What is the good of having many checkouts open if you are being charged the wrong price.
This is why the K-Mart in Del Rio failed, because of wrong prices, bad customer service and only two checkouts being open no matter how many people were waiting.

On Thanksgiving Day, I purchased at the Hudson, Florida, K-mart a DVD player which offered a $15 rebate. The next day, I sent all materials EXACTLY as instructed. Now the Sears/K-Mart rebate website states that I failed to included the UPC. This is absolutely false. ALL materials required were submitted. Calling the numbers listed for Sear and K-Mart just shifts you from automated menu to menu with no option of talking to a live human being. I can also find no e-mail address to explain their error to them.
Whether this is a blatant attempt to avoid paying out a rebate or just corporate stupidity, I cannot say, but I am out $15 either way.
HELP !!

Not A Complaint
For those that have ended up on this page because the K-Mart survey didn't work...try typing in your tool bar kmartfeedback.com & it will take you to the survay. DO NOT type in www.kmartfeedback.com because it will bring you back here...I know this because that's what I did until I decided to just key in what is on my receipt just as it is. It worked for me!!! Not sure if there really is $2, 500.00 gift card but I was able to fill out the survey!

i was in store #4064 today. I spent over $100.00, and i am disabled. i stood in line for 1/2 hour because i had been in the store three weeks earlier. they had given me a paper to fill out, and the girl at that time, told me it was like a senior citizen card, and i would get $10.00 off my next purchase. well, when i went in today, the clerk i had was very nice and funny but had no clue what i was telling her about. she said she just got back from vacation, so she wasn't sure what i was telling her.she got another clerk to help her. then she told me i was turned down for the sears credit card. then i had no clue what she was talking about. finally, i told her never mind, just ring it up. i bought two bras, buy one, get one 50% off. it rang up 4 times. it was a terrible experience and i can't even blame the clerk that much. i recently had back surgery, and i have copd. she also had to reboot the regester. being in line was almost 45 mins. then i came home and went to register for the gift card and find out it's a scam. i hate wal-mart, but i guess that's the only place i have left, on my small disability check. by the way my receipt # is 04064 120808 006 18343

couldn't cash my check
I went thru the check-out and paid by check also showing my drivers license. Cashier Jody said it wouldn't except my check. I said "why not" she said it doesn't tell me, just call 800 number on back. I paid for my purchases with cash that I didn't want to use. That was so embarrassing. I have never in my entire life had that happen before. The check-out lines were long and everyone was getting mad that I was taking so long. I called the 800 number and they told me that an extra 4 was added to my driver's license number, that is why it was rejected. It was the cashiers fault for not doing it right and caused me all the aggravation. Next, I called the store to talk to the manager, the girl who answered said to hold on. For 15 min. I held on like a fool..and no one picked up. This was totally uncalled for. I am fed-up with being treated this way.

The past three times that I have been in k-mart, I have had to deal with a very rude ladie. Her name is Bernida, she works in the pharmacy. She went as far as insulting me on the type of medicine that I have to take. The other two times she was just flat out rude she dosent even tell you hellow or to have a good day.I alwayse tell her to have a good day, and she still isnt friendly. I dont like to complain on people. I work in retail and know that people sometimes percieve me wrong. This ladies actions is totally uncalled for. I have had it with this ladie. I will never shop at the big K ever again, and will never give them another red cent for my medicine either.
