Karem Yepez-Zapata is a hustler and liar. She passes off her company "Spanish for Sales" as a full-service marketing company, when in fact, the only thing she can do is buy one-time media deals. Why? Because she hustles people; she doesn't negotiate. She leaves her contacts feeling ripped-off and violated - you can bet once they've had a chance to compose themselves, not only do they realize what her game is, they'll be ready for her next time. Her clients suffer because of her lack of grace, etiquette, and polish.
She doesn't have an office. She keeps her files in her car. Where she seems to keep everything else! She's always late for appointments, if she makes it to them at all.
Where is this woman's office? She has none. She visits Property Managers, only to make them ridiculously unrealistic offers. She's been laughed out of most property management offices in the Gables, Doral, and the Grove. She basically wastes everyone's time.
Her work is always late. But that's not a surprise because so is she. To every meeting, conference call, or any type of committed schedule you set and expect adherence to.
She outsources EVERYTHING - sometimes even her email responses - in an effort to cover her total lack of command of any language. She claims she speaks spanish and english. Lord help us!
She does not pay those who actually do the work she presents as her agency's. No. Instead, she tells them how much fun they'll all have when the agency grows, and how she can't pay any money right now, but she will for actual work, once it gets going, but this is a great way to get in, and she'll pay but at first she doesn't make that much money either... you get the picture. She's an exploiter.
Not an ounce of talent other than as a top-notch banchee screamer. She was fired from a large, local, hispanic studio that shall remain nameless in order to protect them from any connection to Mrs. Yepez-Zapata. She will tell anyone who will listen that her employer was 'jealous' of her. Yeah, right. They just finally figured out how to get rid of your psycho ass.
If you have done something really terrible in your life and find yourself crossing paths with this possibly bipolar individual, look her straight in her eyes when she negotiates with you- because that's what she'll be doing no matter what the circumstances. At all times she'll be weighing out what you can do for her, while she promises to do some things that will never come to be. Her eyes are shifty like a greedy little mouse.
In Conclusion, there is no company behind Spanish for Sales, there are no 'departments'! She doesn't have a staff (or a broom). She doesn't keep important appointments, or times. Nobody who is anybody wants to give her credit. She's in debt up to her eyeballs, rumor has it her home has been in foreclosure for almost a year but she keeps it tied-up in litigation. She's easy to spot though. Anybody with common sense will see this lying, unprofessional, two-bit hustler coming a mile away.
