Scheduled an appointment for the digital panel to be replaced in December 2009. Was told it was $500 and we couldn't afford that at the time. Called on Sunday February 7 2009 and asked if I could schedule an appointment to have this now repaired. Explained to the associate that I had already paid a diagnostic fee and was told I would not need to pay it again because it was within 90 days. I also asked the Sears associate if the part could be ordered now so when the repair man comes the part can be replaced. No sense coming for a part that he does not have. She tells me the part number and says that it's ordered. Called Sears at 3:22pm on February 10 2010 to make sure the technician that was coming on February 11 2010 had the necessary part. I was assured that the technician was coming and had the part. Today February 11 2010 receive a call from the technician. I ask him if he has the part with him for the panel. He replies that he doesn't carry parts with him that they need to be ordered. I tell him "no no the associate I spoke on Sunday and yesterday told me that it was ordered and it would be on your truck". He says "I'll have to check with my supervisor and he'll have to get back to me. I call Sears Service back and speak with Frank. Explain the situation again in it's entirety and ask him if he understands my frustration. After 6 apologies he tells me the part was never ordered and that he will order the part and it will be delivered in 3-5 days. Then apologizes again and says he will file a complaint on my behalf, but no one would probably call me back. Great customer service! They sure do care about their customers. I'm a prime example of that! This is their third strike. Now it's time to call the media. This is a good time to use your connections!
