Purchased |FRONT LOAD WASHER FROM SEARS APPROXIMATELY 1 year and such ago. Washer wasnt working properly, funny smell, made noise, sent new one, guys that brought almost fell down the stairs.
ANYHOW exchanged washer, after a few months washer wasnt working properly, called service said the warranty was up infact it wasnt, they did not change bill from exchange. anyhow service guy came CREEPY. HE SAID HE CLEANED OUT THE HOSE AS THEIR WAS DEBRIS INSIDE.
FEW WEEKS WENT BY THE SAME THING HAPPENED, CALLED SERVICE AGAIN . SERVICE FELLW WAS CONCERNED FOR MY SAFETY, HE TOOK PLUG OUT AND TOLD ME NOT TO USE WASHER OR PLUG IN, I COULD BE ELECTROCUTED, HE WAS CONCERNED, DONT WORRY I WILL ORDER THE PARTS YOU NEED AND FIX IT, HE SAID IT WAS THE OTHER SERVICE GUYS FAULT, HE DID NOT FIX PROPERLY.
SPOKE TO HEAD OFFICE SHE OKD A SERVICE COMING BACK AT NO CHARGE HER NAME WAS MELISSA, I WAITED FOR A FEW DAYS, CALLED BACK, SHE WOULD NOT RETURN MY CALLS.
FINALLY SOME AWFUL LACKING CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID THERE NOT PAYING YOU HAVE TO.
I SEND A EMAIL TO CEO MR. FOYER, UNFORTUNATELY HE DID NOT GET BACK TO ME, A WOMAN LEFT A MESSSAGE ON MY PHONE AT 12NOON AND TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO ABSORB THE COSTS, AS IT WAS A GOOD WILL CALL LAST TIME BUT NOT THIS TIME. ALTHOUGH THE WASHER WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY,
SO HERE I STAND LOADS OF LAUNDRY SOLD A FAULTY AND DANGEROUS WASHER AND WANT FIXED CORECTLY T BEGIN WITH, SHOULD HAVE REPLACED HOSE, IT IS COMPLETELY BURNT,

Washer Leaks during wash cycle
My front-load machine would leak whenever I would wash a load of clothes.
We scheduled a service call in early March (2008) when the tech came out he ran the washer on the spin cycle 6 times and told me there was nothing wrong with the machine.
When I tried to do laundry a week later I still had the same problem of my machine leaking. So I scheduled a call for Friday March 21 from 1-5pm. I got a call around 3pm telling me the tech got an asthma attack and had to go home. The next available appiontment was for today, Saturday April 5 but now they tell me 8-5pm. So I wait. Only to get a call at 1pm telling me the tech went home sick.
Called to speak to a manager and the only that could be done is to give me another date now April 15th from 8-12 so again another day off work. I can't tell you how upset this makes me. Such a bunch of crap!

These washers should have been recalled
Kenmore Front Load Washer - this wash machine has mold that continually builds up behind the door gasket and I believe around the drum itself. I have tried to keep it clean but to no avail, our towels smell something awful. I have called Sears 3 times, but only get a runaround, the only option they provide is to have a technician come out ($59.00) and diagnose the problem, which I already know. Then for another charge, they will run a solution through the washer to rid it of the mold, which will return, of course. I filed a complaint with a Sears "executive officer" (who has no power to do a thing about my dilemma) and she said that logging my complaint is all they will do. I asked if I should be expecting a call or a letter from someone and she said "no". These washers should have been recalled.
