I have a Kenmore Range - Model: 790.96119408 on which the left front burner comes on by itself, without warning. This morning, the unit came on by itself and nearly started a fire in my kitchen. The unit has been in use for just over a year. Other similar Frigidaire/Kenmore ranges have been recalled - however Sears refuses to fix this product under the terms of the recall, nor acknowledge the product as defective.

This product is dangerous and should be recalled and Sears investigated for failing to act sooner regarding the problem with their defective products.
