On October 24, 2005, I had the misfortune of ordering a queen sleeper from Kensington Furniture on Route 38 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This company has since moved and changed their name to Prime Environment on Route 73 in Marlton, New Jersey. The salesperson, Russ, told me it would take 6-8 weeks, which is standard and i had no problem with. Around December, 2005, I called Russ for the status and was told the couch would be delivered on December 26, 2005. The couch was delivered on that day, but it was the completely wrong fabric. So i called Russ, but he wasn't there, and i told the customer service person. She said she would relay the message to Russ. Russ never returned my call and I had to call a week later. Russ told me that he ordered the right fabric and the couch would be in in 6-8 weeks. So i called again in February and learned, for the first time, that Russ never ordered the fabric. He lied. It was finally ordered on February 20, 2006, and I was told it would take 6-8 weeks. This brings us to April, 2006. After repeated phone calls (since nobody there calls you back) and multiple lies, I was told the couch would be in "before Memorial Day weekend." This was told to me by a "manager." So about 2 days before the Memorial Day weekend, I place a call (because, again, nobody returns my phone calls or bothers to clue its customers in) to Kensington, Prime, whatever its called, and asked when the couch is coming. The genius Russ tells me it will be in either Tuesday (5-30-06) or Thursday (6-1-06). I called again on May 30, 2006 to check the status and I was told now that the couch won't be in until July. I canceled the order.

Stanley Grossman, the so-called owner of this company, should be ashamed of himself. This is the worst run company i have ever dealt with in my life. The staff is extremely unhelpful and all they care about is getting your money. They dismiss every complaint, every phone call, and are the most unreliable group of people I have ever encountered. Now, all they care about is picking up the ugly sofa I got (immediately of course) and not even try to work with me. They are in a rush to pick up the sofa, yet when it came to trying to accomodate me, it was just one big delay. Nobody there cares about its customers. I spoke to about a dozen people at Kensington and each and every one of them has a different story. I can't even point to one; they're all useless.

Supposedly I am not the only one who feels this way about this ridiculous establishment. I wish I would have done some background research from the beginning. If anybody even thinks of buying something from there, please think again. You will be sorry.
