Within three days of installation this product started troubling me
I brought this product for NExt Retail shop on 29th April 2007 but within three days of installation this product started troubling me in terms of the following:
1.Cooling Problems
2.Swing Function Not working
3.Remote Not working
4.Peculiar Noise from the Product
Despite repeated complaints and reminders, complain has not been attended till date.

The machine broke down 45 days after purchase
The Company is advertising this Kenstar washing machines heavily. Considering the convenience of tumble wash from top and Videocon backing was enough for me to buy this product. We are only two adults and two kids in the family.
The machine broke down 45 days after purchase (9.7.2004) and the service engineer changed the timer card. At the time he told us that breakdown might have happened because of overloading (we were not agreeable to his view- as we never overload this 5 Kg machine).
Now, on 5th November 2005, again this machine has stopped rotating and it seems it is the same problem. This time we are sure there was no overloading. It seems there is some in built problem in the machine which starts giving trouble. (I have yet to report the problem to service station- being Sunday they are not picking phone today- 6th Nov. 05)
Today the machine is covered under warranty, however if the machine continues to behave this way- what will happen when the two years warranty period expires in coming May 06? I may have to discard the machine itself.
The company should modify this machine/ or improve upon the problematic part and recall the entire earlier sold machines for rectification to build and reinforce confidence in Videocon products. I am myself planning to buy three split AC unit and my vendor is proposing Videocon split AC, and in case I am not satisfied with what the service engineer has to say, I am certainly going to evaluate Videocon split A.C. more critically.

Service center number not working
From the last 10 days i am triying to contact the service center to repair my water cooler, but every time i make the call their customer care representative is busy on another call. KINDLY PROVIDE THE SERVICE CENTER NUMBER.
Not happy with the service, i will never recommend this brand to any one.

notworking
I have purchased a washing machine on 18.2.2006 and found the same to be not working properly on many occasions. Thrice the same was repaired and still the problems are not cured. On last occasion the PCB as well as the control panel was changed on 10.9.2007 . But the same is returned to my...I am requisting the customers dont buy the ken star washing Machine please that machine useless

About service center
I have purchased one kenstar air conditioner from your local dealer in viramgam, ahmedabad, gujarat, india. I asked him so many times for service, but he didn't come even a single time and now he is not receiving my calls also. This is not done.

Pathetic Service - After Sales
I have put in a complaint with the customer service department of Kenstar regarding the pathetic service being provided by the company. I do not see anything happening there other than getting a standard answer that someone will get back to you. (7 days still ahve'nt heard from them). I had bought a water purifier of Kenstar and the following are the problems with that:
1. After 10 calls the person responsible for installing it came to my place.
2. The installation was done after 4 days of purchase.
3. He was outright rude and behaved as he was doing some favors to me
4. The installation is not proper and the water is leaking from it and because of that there is damage to my kitchen.
I have given a complaint at the call center and the complaint number is DAM08D180016. (it took 4 calls from my side to register complaint there too)
The dealer insisted that you product is good but I seriously believe that things like these do not show such a good company in good light ; before buying stuff of this company I would suggest a lot of people to think twice.

bad after sale services
i`m TAPASYA, resident of pune- i had registered the complaint with PRAGATI ELECTRONICS, kenstar service center on 9.04.08 and was told the man will reach tomorrow eveningi.e. 10 .04.08, but nobody has come from there inspite of 2 reminder calls daily. this is not the first time, last time also the service took pretty long.
It is just not expected from a company like kenstar- with so many consumer products to be irresponsible.
i`m forced to say that it will be difficult for me purchase any oher kenstar product or rather even suggest anybody for it.

Not working
I have purchased kenstar little air cooler on june 2007. From beginning my cooler is not working , I don't know where should i complain . So i have login in my net i search kenstar web site , but it is not working .
Now where should i go ?

Kenstar Smart Mixer Grinder not working!
My name is Vandana.Recently I bought a Kenstar Smart Mixer in India with American wiring system... as I stay in USA.My problem is, for the first three times mixie worked perfectly after that. for the fourth time when I used it , suddenly mixie stopped in the middle... and it is not working still now... is the problem with current passing to mixie...
