food and hygiene
The food was cold, also behind the counter smelt like the tiolets, really really bad. The staff also didn, t have a clue what they were doing. Also the next day i was very poorly with stomach cramps, so who knows whats happening to the food. I will never go there again...

DM is a lier and the training manager is a idiotic smuck
I was told by the DM that i would go through training making 35000.00 a year, after training when i took over my store he would pay me the 38000.00, he then comes to me later and tells me that i have to run my store for 3 months or so before i receive 38000.00 a year, (lie # 1), and then tells me that i will only receive 35000.00 a year only if i put in 52 hours per week and i would only be paid by the hour, (lie # 2), which is not what he promised in the interview. Then he tells me that i will be paid for the Holidays, wrong (lie # 3) i am not going to get holiday pay nor am i going to get an additional day off the week of christmas because the manager and the DM are jerks and they don't want to let there free labor off if they don't have to. On to the next subject, my training as a manager consisted of learning how to cook for 5 days, which was fine then i got stuck on making mashed potatoes and working the cash register for over a week exactly 9 days, when was i supposed to be trained on how to open the store and it doesn't take but 1 day to learn register and 10 minutes to learn mashed potatoes, come on where is the rest of my training? So while in this training of the mashed potatoes i ended up having to call in because my daughter had 104 temperature, nothing i can control, then a couple of days later i had to take off 2 hours early to go pay my electric bill so they would not shut me off and my manager had put me on all days 6 days a week with only saturday off, so i had to take off to take care of this i had no choice, so then i told my manager and the DM that i would be more than willing to make up my hours but they were not having any of that either, go figure? Well the DM became enraged and said you are not to deviate from the schedule anymore while in training so you don't miss anything, again back to the mashed potatoes, what training i thought. So of course the impossible happened, my car would not start one morning and i was 10 minutes late, o my god all hell broke loose and i was fired and i had just been told by the DM's boss that this would not happen it did. Its just amazing that the DM would think that i deliberately did these things to get out of work and O he was also upset when i told the manager that i would like to have that tuesday off as well as christmas day so i could recoup from the 12 hour shift on Monday how dare i need to recoop and this is another company that does not want you to take any breaks what so ever and they do not have labor laws posted for the employees to see so they don't know about breaks and the DM had no clue about what the laws were, where did they get this guy? Amazing, what is it about company's today thinking that they can get away with not giving people breaks the laws were made for a reason to protect the worker so every one stand up for your rights and don't let them do this to yo. The law says for every 6 hours you work you are entitled to a 30 minute break but the 15 minute breaks are up to the employer to decide and if an employer says well if you don't take a break you will make more money don't listen, take your break. They will still keep you on staff because they need that full 8 hours of work out of you and they will get it one way or the other. SIGNED STOP LETTING EMPLOYER TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU! KFC does not pay well and they work you with out breaks and you pay for meals.

Terrible service/tasteless meals
16/12/2010- KFC, Montclair, Durban, South Africa. The staff at this outlet serve all their friends first and continue conversations and totally ignore other patrons waiting in the queue. 1 Staff member even removed her name badge so I could not identify her when I mentioned I would report her. This to my horror was a huge joke to the staff. As for the food, it was so disgusting we threw it in the rubbish bin. This was the worst service and fast food I have ever expererienced. Close the place down KFC, it is a bad reflection on your BRAND AND FRANCHISE!!!

chicken very dirty
Dear Sir,
I am very regular customer of KFC but very time in going to purchase of family basket, all the time it is non spicy although i am giving order for spicy. Today also has the same problem i told the counter guy to give me the spicy order family basket, he told that it is spicy order. And every time chicken is very dirty.

Pls. look into the matter.

I LOVE KFC i stoped eating it ...! i tride alot of places and the fride chicken is all the same... i bin seeing the fride chicken has fethers on them they dont clean the chicken good.. someone plz stop this cus its really gross!! and i would love to eat kfc again!!

no refund ever received as promised
I have ordered on 3 seperate occassion's the 10 piece meal, everytime I've gone in there to the establishment its a fiasco but on this particular time, the drive thru. Why I am so disgusted with the place is, I live nearly 34 miles from the store, (its a fairly small town) but its near the interstate so you do the place in order to get food if your in a hurry! So, working late on a project one night thats exactly what happened, but since it was so late we left in a hurry as we were both ravished. They had been running an ad for a week about a fantastic 10 pc dinner for a good price, naturally thats what was chosen. Arriving home after the 46 minute drive an opening the box to unveil the contents, I rec'd chicken (It was all dark meat which I hate) but being ravenous, I started to dig in, first bite, the chicken was not cooked all the way thru! An I got 4 pieces, not 10! I wanted Original, I got Crispy! I contacted the store on Stockton Hill Rd an the Mgr. answered but said he had to put me hold after listening to my complaint! At this point I was furious, sitting by my computer, I decided too research an locate the Corp Store an explain to them what happened. The woman took all the info down an promised me that a certificate for a free meal would be forthcoming, so I felt a lil better about it. (Even at the close of the call with Corp HQ, I was still on hold awaiting the manager!) 38 min. later with no response from the mgr. I hung up an awaited my certificate for a free 10 pc meal. 2 month's went by, no certificate, I re-called the Corp HQ, same story, a certificate would be sent to me, its now been almost 6 months from that telephone promise an NO CERTIFICATE!
Update: I've found that in Bullhead City they have a very competent crew, the food taste great an just like the Colonel would've wanted it. I go there but disturbingly, I've never rec'd a certificate for the incident that occurred. I have never been back to the store in Kingman, AZ an since I have to go there because of several incidents with Merchant's in Kingman I continue to do all my shopping there in Bullhead City an I found the prices are nearly 10-15 cheaper on avg. an the people in that town go over the top to make sure the Customer is satisfied! With money being hard to come by I reccomend to anyone in that area to try my new method an get great results an be treated like a valueable customer! Make Your Money Speak For You!

poor food and bad customer service
My husband and I were returning from a trip to LA and we were going home to North Las Vegas. We stopped at the KFC on the border of CA and NV at Primm (address for KFC is actually Jean, NV).

Right away we noticed that the prices at this franchise were much higher than other KFC locations, but we were so hungry we ate there anyway. We did not realize that they closed 5 minutes after we arrived there, so the food was sitting out, cold and overcooked. Nobody told us that they were closing and they seemed to rush us in making our order. We asked for some extra sides and were told that they were out and as we ate there, they were cleaning around us to discourage our staying in the restaurant.

The staff was rude, the food was horrible, SO, I called KFC the next day, which was June, 29, 2010. To this day, October 1, 2010, I have not received a reply, even though I have called back numerous times. Now when I call, there is a fast busy signal, like the phone is "off the hook".

Their Customer Service is the poorest that I have ever experienced--they are arrogant and they don't give a rip whether they have repeat customers.

With all this touting about their double chicken entree, they should try to get the basics down first. I have decided never to go there again (any location) and have told family and friends to do the same.

I hope KFC reads this and "SHAME ON THEM" for acting that way.

With lousy food, poor service and corporate apathy to the problem, they should reconfigure their management, PRONTO!!!

Undersized pieces
I paid $28.99 for a 12-piece grilled chicken meal which included 3 side dishes. When I got home and opened the "bucket", it was only about 1/3 full. The size of the chicken pieces was so small, I thought they had started cooking PIGEON!! I have written to KFC, but I'm not anticipating an answer. I will not return to KFC. I need the most "bang for my buck" and KFC is no longer a good value! Protect your wallet...BOYCOTT KFC!

the chicken is very dry and hard to swallow the gravy is very waterd down this worst kentucky any body could have this is not the first time and there are a lot of complaints about this place and the management just dont listen i gave my bargin bucket to the dogs in the end will never buy from this shop again and definatley would not recomend

KETCHUP
IN HONG KONG KFC STORES, WHEN I ORDER CHICKEN, EVEN ONE BUCKET... I NEED TO ASK FOR KETCHUP BEFORE I WOULD BE GIVEN A PACK. IS IT NOT AUTOMATICALLY BEING GIVEN? FOR WHICH PURPOSE ARE THESE PACKETS OF KETCHUP PREPARED FOR THEN? AREN'T THEY FOR CHICKEN? AND FOR GOD SAKE, ONE BUCKET, THEY WILL GIVE YOU ONE TINY PACK OF KETCHUP????? COMMON SENSE PLEASE!!! AND IF YOU ASK FOR 1 OR 2 MORE PACKETS, SOMETIMES AN ANNOYING FACE WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU BY STAFF! HEY MANAGEMENT, PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF! OR ARE THEY TRAINED NOT TO GIVE KETCHUP UNLESS THE CUSTOMER ASK? AND TODAY I AM SO MAD, I ASKED MY HUSBAND TO BUY A TAKE HOME FRIED CHICKEN TO ME... 2 PCS + A FRENCH FRIES... BOTH NEED KETCHUP. BUT HE BROUGHT THESE TAKE HOME KFC THINGS TO ME WITHOUT A SINGLE PACKET OF KETCHUP, SO ANNOYING BECAUSE I HAVE NO KETCHUP AT HOME TOO. I WAS SO ANGRY WITH MY HUSBAND WHY HE DIDNT ASK FOR KETCHUP. AND HE ASKED ME BACK... ISN'T IT BEING GIVEN AUTOMATICALLY? I CANT ANSWER HIM, , CAN YOU PLEASE ANWSER US KFC MANAGEMENT?
