I want to asked question from both KESC management and Power Minister why one of the worst power fault faced which begins in evening of Jun 17, 2009 ( 6.45 PM) and last unto next day till evening 5.00 PM almost 22 hours power failure faced by the citizen of Karachi as they are punished by the KESC or take revenge?

Whole night was totally sleepless night and realized who those mange to stay in their home which haven’t UPS or Generator facility. I am talking amount elderly person and infants / kids aged group below 7 years.

They all are faced torture and pain to spend whole night without the electricity. Why the fault not over come and rectify in the shortest time which take a whole day. Who is responsible for this should be punished or sacked from the service.

When I try to contact in Morning and afternoon to the KESC complain centre 118 their phone remain busy continuously. Why they people engaged telephone in order to avoid to receive the complain or not interested to work in KESC than they should left this job at earliest.

Request to Chief Minister – Sind and Prime Minister of Pakistan to take an immediate notice of such a long load shedding which irk all consumers and force to stay in total darkness. All people business remains prayalis due to non-electric in the whole city of Karachi.

Karachi generates more than 60% of revenue but why treats us as second citizen or step mother relation. Why in-justice will continue with the city of Karachi for what reason.

Why we still not sufficient in electricity after 60 years and feel shy to learn from Iran or Japan how they build their country and now become an example for the whole world. Where I never heard of any load shedding yet. The secret behind them are only honest, sincere and loyal leaders those want to develop and progress own country and not remain dependable on USA aids always like Pakistan.

Strict action against taken with the complain centre those people un-necessary exchange the phone than asked them a report how many complain calls they attended (name of complainer, caller No., date and time). Request to head of KESC to enforce immediate basis so all consumers get confidence.

More regretful never KESC realized their mistake or excuse with the consumers. Why our business trade bodies KCCI, FPCCI remain silence and never interested to registered a strong protest or complain because have no power to exercise?

I want to share that last 2 days we face worst load shedding in city of Karachi and our area SOLDIER BAZAR was badly affected. More painful to share that power continues for maximum ½ to 1 hr than load shedding begins. I observed that in a single day load shedding continue for a day 7 to 10 hours as punishment for us by KESC. Entire schedule become paralysis when load shedding occur and remain upset the consumers. I assumed that Soldier Bazar is ideal for load shedding for KESC.

What is the problem with the KESC they people why treat the citizen of Karachi as second citizen or step mother. Why forget that the majority of revenue from Karachi city which is known as mini Pakistani. How long such in-justice will continue as revenge or punishment by the KESC.

Do I have the right to protest? Is criticism a sin? I am talking about very worst and poor power supply service by the KESC. Why KESC not interested to take an action or check those who have avail UN-authorize connection as have no courage to take such step and not exercise power for the honest consumers to face.

When our country will over the power crisis and solves all consumers’ problems. If there is no electricity than those arrange Generator or UPS are in safe hands but realized those who remain in total darkness and face the double heath (one from summer weather and another due to load shedding) why irk the consumers and never wins the hearts and minds of common consumers ever if such load shedding continue in Karachi un-schedule.

Why not take an action against KESC staff available in complain centre when dial 118 for complaining of specific area in Karachi facing non-electricity than phone remain most of time busy or exchange. Asked them how many complain calls they have received in a single day. Note down each caller name, Area, caller No. and time and inform the consumer when their power will come honestly. Such type of practice will help for improve the services and consumers feel easy to lodge the complain without any fail. Decide who will enforce such practice for the consumers benefits and control the misuse of own staff.

Learn from experience of Iran and India where no load shedding happens as in Pakistan. Why they are in Europe or West that is why over come the power crisis but the reason their leaders are honest, sincere and loyal to the country people. Pakistan should generate energy from solar system to over come current power crisis.

I want to convey message to all concern especially KESC management, Power Minister that it is ever possible that KESC ever try to win the hearts and minds of Karachi citizen on account of conducting load shedding in whole city Karachi ( which is mini Pakistan) in organize way.

Load shedding problems all people faces in KARACHI – PAKISTAN no matter belong to rich or poor in uniform way but rich and affordable class saved from summer hot due to uses the facility of Generator and UPS to run their fans or A/C than realized how poor and un-affordable force to stay in such hot days not peak season of summer yet to come July-August

It is observed that KESC conduct load shedding only un-schedule or un-planed as punishment which irk the consumers and creates problem for complete the jobs. Never response to complain of consumers due to careless management and staff too, realized those complaining KESC they have no courage to face or reply them. Who will take notice of such careless attitude in which only consumers suffer nothing else?

Many have switch over to Generator or UPS but still population belong to above 50% of Karachi does not have sources to use such alternative way to over come the load shedding

KESC always happy to conduct un-announced load shedding and never our Government yet over come the power crisis. How many ill-legal connection enjoy’s but KESC have no power to exercise or punish the only the genuine consumers in two ways ( one conducting load shedding and sending more than actual consumption bills)

In Karachi ill-legal connection are happy and tension free but honest and genuine consumers faced problems but never KESC management realized to solve the consumer’s problems. How our load-shedding problem will end by the efforts of USA, European Union or God Angles who decide?

Open letter to Prime Minister of Pakistan for justice & take a serious notice of KESC careless attitude and solve problem of facing un-correct billings

I have no way left in last expect approach to our country PRIME MINISTER how I get quick justice and solved my problems from root level for facing un-correct KESC billing due to faulty NEW SPEEDY METER. In this regard I lodge complain with the Governor of Sind (online complain to Governor of Sind PRB-5569-09 Dtd 21.04.09 ) also lodge complain with concern Mohtasib Karachi (online complain Wafaqi Mohtasib, Karachi, ONL/0000115/09 dated 21.04.2009 ) More painful to say that more than 1 month passed no progress of my lodge complain as punishment.

I want to convey message to PRIME MINISTER & PRESIDENT of Pakistan if they sincere and honest Muslim than listen the genuine complain of KESC consumers.

Ask question from KESC why they donot response the complain positive as they want to proof that they are totally careless or ignore all type of consumers complain when ever lodge to them. They what action taken by the concern authority only to protect the interest of consumers.

I lodge a complain for facing un-correct billing on account of new meter installed (Meter No. B 80074 Consumer No AL888067 A/c No.0508903450227) and more interesting to share that as promised by the concern Mohtasib MR. MOHD MEHBOOB ALAM, Adviser IN front of Legal Dept staff of KESC to replace the faulty meter which is the root causes but yet no person visit our home.

Please refer to my complain lodge and more than 30 days passed no called received from the Mohtasib office to solve my problem which means they are also too lazy to process any consumer complain case and give him or her relief.

What action taken by Governor of Sind after receiving my complain online complain to Governor of Sind PRB-5569-09 Dtd 21.04.09 keep silence or any interest to protect the consumers.

In the month of April – 09 received bill for 237 units for Rs. 1, 170 plus arrears of Rs. 769 which was adjusted as asked by the KESC Legal Dept authorized person. Now we received the May 08 bill for unit 259 Rs. 1293 ( Total bill outstanding ) Rs.3300

If you refer or study the billing we face in old meter than you understand our billing never reach to such high standard and we never approach to the concern Mohtasib or KESC. Since the meter changed when we observe that receiving bills above the actual consumption than we start to lodge complain but still our problem stands where its begins.

Our request to allow us rebate for Rs.5000 for paying those abnormal or above the actual bills and remove the arrears amounts and please process our case not in a lazy way but hurry you and show show interest and pain to slowing the consumers complain and realized their problems too. How long I have to wait and request you all concern ( how many times)

This is the standard in our country for getting justice more than 30 days passed but not movement of in my complain which I think you people can work immediate basis after receiving complain maximum with in 10 days to save time and early action required.

I once again give you message that I am jobless more than 8 months facing great difficulties and also a kidney transplantation done on 14.12.2004, WHY you treat me as a step mother FOR using honest way connections? When my punishment session will over from the root level and do the needful without wasting further precious time otherwise you all are responsible to God at judgment day for wasting time and face punishment too.

Proof that you all are Muslims and God fearing and sincere to solve my problems for facing and paying those bills amount above our consumptions.
