fraud
There are several charges to my AMEX card. I called one of the four(4) different numbers to find out what these charges were. I was told that I had signed up for this "membership" and the man, Laurence, Listened to me say several times" aoolof these charges will be removed from my AMEX card NOW". This man, Laurence tried to convince me that this company was on the up and up and that there is nothing "fishey".. I finally told him that if we were talking face to face that I would be saying "READ MY LIPS". What a big scam these people are running. Laurence finally did to agree to remove the charges when I told him that AMEX will be getting a fraud complaint.
DO NOT let these people get away with this scam!!! File complaints with the FTC.

Unathorized charge
This company added a $14.95 charge to my phone bill for some voice mail service that I never requested. Their mode of operation seems to be to contact a legitimate billing service and claim that you requested a service. They supply a bogus email address for validation, and when this address receive the validation request they of course approve it. Now you are on the hock for $14.95 a month for eternity.
Nice scum!
The crazy thing is that it is so easy to set up - all you need is someone name of phone number; nothing else. It is made so easy by the stupid California law that allow anybody bill through the phone company, without the phone company contacting the person and verifying the charge. This is so CRAZY!

voicemail scam
I have been getting billed for a voice mail service on my home number and have tried 3 times now to call the organization, Key Club Save LLC, to demand the cancellation and to obtain a refund, as AT&T says I am allowed to. The 1st person I spoke to said that I "..must have been transacting with another organization and entered your telephone number and that's how we got you to buy our service." I asked how my buying something from someone else would constitute authority for them, and she said that they sent me an email. I explained that, sadly, I'm a packrat and that I still have all my emails from the past year, and they never sent me anything. I then said I required the refund, and that's when we got disconnected (big surprise!) I called back 3 more times - They hung up on me each time, refusing to give me address or cancellation order number. I just called a 4th time and said, ".. before I tell you the telephone number I'm calling about, I'm telling you I've called 4 times now and was hung up on each time and if that happens again, I'll just be calling the Ohio Attorney General's office." They took the call, gave me a cancellation number, and said I would get a 1/2 refund now and then I should call back in 2 weeks and then they'd give me the rest. What a crock!
Is this legal????
