Yes, he is still in Fremont...Lives at Pappillon Apartments @ Auto Mall & Fremont Bl. He has many children and at least one daughter who goes to Horner Jr.Hi/possibly Irvington by now (she's on-line - that's how I found out about him LATER). I did find PICTURES of he and his family at a graduation

He was "working in the neighborhood" and agreed to do brickwork and acid wash my bricks when done (think I got him DOWN to $850 -he asked about my daughter's un-driven car -prob as partial pmt, but told him no). He'd WANTED to do my driveway for $8, 000 or more-"I make it up on the next job". I don't really have any money, I was just a LITTLE ahead at the time. I don't have that kind of CASH (the only way he deals-give him a check and he'll cash it RIGHT AWAY BEFORE the work starts).

They started Monday morning (this had been Saturday), then moved over to the next-door neighbor's (a MAN) the next day. He'd called me the nite before asking what I thought. I told him I didn't want to give a recommendation until he FINISHED my work. They started HIS the next day anyway (a one-day job). They came BACK (I think-this has gone ON so long) and finished some of the brickwork. Then gone and never came back. When I'd initially wrote a check he'd given me his DL to spell his name correctly and I wrote down all his info before giving it back. He also (then anyway) banks at Wells Fargo.

I kept calling and getting VM. Then disconnected! I accused the person answering of hiding him because I KNEW the REAL phone co (I worked there) did NOT give out numbers that fast after disconnecting. Cell companies have no "rules" I guess. I drove around "the neighborhood" ha ha and FOUND his crew doing a BIG driveway brick job on Doane St. and parked around the corner and waited for him to show up. He was so "shocked" to see me HA! FOUND you! Gave me his "new" number. I can go up and down the street now and see where they've probably worked. It appeared to be friends/relatives working for him...they also appeared Tongan.

Then one day he appears with a cement truck at an original neighbor's house in the court! (he was driving her old lt blue and white 5th wheel(?) truck he'd received as payment from her at one time). He came over and apologized and said hewould be over X day (or some story of when).

Did come back and TALK (so sorry) and got me to (stupidly) give him $250 more (other work still not finished - yes dummy me!) to do my front yard work (WANTED to do the back for more $$$, but told him I was taking care of that myself). Haven't see him since...Saw one of his trucks parked full of stuff by another of his jobs after hours (again on Doane), and CALLED him..."tomorrow, Tues, Thursday, Saturday...I promise, so sorry I make you cry, etc). Today same thing again..Saturday.

Been calling and texting him nearly weekly for the last two months. Always the same above...he even TRIED "hurt my hand", and I told him YOU don't DO the work and I saw on the internet you go to Home Depot for workers. Silence. I got so tired (and embarrassed) seeing my front lawn overgrow with weeds that I weed whacked it myself (the WHOLE thing) in an hour or so and paid for it the next day and have not even TRIED to do the many bushes - I'm in my 60's.

I found this additional information here when I ran a search on his name (I'd written the WHOLE thing down from his DL so KNEW the spelling was correct).

I am EXTREMELY sorry for anyone that ends up the same way I have (so far), but I'm NOT giving up...money or work...don't care WHICH anymore.
