Kimkins.com, a dangerous and potentially deadly website that is going unchecked needs to be removed. Heidi Kimberly Diaz, a morbidly obese woman has scammed possibly hundreds of thousands of people with her FALSE claims of healthy, fast, sustainable weightloss. Diaz claims to have created a diet that enabled her to lose 198 lbs in just 11 months and to keep the weight off, however Diaz is currently floating around the 300 lb mark and has NEVER lost any weight, never had success on a diet and just recently has been exposed as a fraud.

Her "diet" is a Very Low Calorie Diet which has no fiber, no vitamins or minerals and she encourages participants to take a multi-vit to get these, as well as the almost daily use of laxatives to "keep things moving" as a weight loss tool. Her website touts a "lifetime membership, access to Kimmer, an ebook, support, information, medical advice and more". Members who dare to question Diaz's advice on ANY subject have been permanently BANNED from the site (regardless of the anywhere from $19.95-69.95 LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP FEE) with no warning or explanation. Diaz scoured the internet and found some pictures on a Russian bride site and stole those pictures and used them as success stories for her website as well as HER AFTER PICTURES... leading people to believe that she had indeed created the perfect diet.

Diaz has been exposed as a fraud, liar and manipulative, dangerous woman and she is still doing business. Her website is still running, despite the class action lawsuit filed by members whose "lifetime membership" came to a screeching halt as soon as they realized the medical, emotional and physical damage they were doing to themselves by following this diet. Once they started talking amongst themselves and with other sites, they were banned, when asked for a refund Diaz refused... a suit was filed and the walls came crumbling down. Diaz has been exposed on KTLA news out of Los Angeles, CA and on the Morning Show with Mike and Juliet. Currently ABC's Good Morning America will run a story on this whole drama on Saturday 1/18/2008.

This website provides advice about losing weight. Heidi Diaz fraudulently claimed to have lost 198 pounds and kept it off for five years. She has admitted under oath in a deposition that she did not lose the weight. She misappropriated a photograph of an attractive woman, posted it on her homepage, and claimed it was her (Heidi Diaz). She provided Woman's World magazine with a picture misappropriated from the internet and told them it was her. She concocted false success stories and misappropriated additional photographs from the internet to represent the "before and after" images of the subjects in the stories. She has admitted to this fraud under oath.

The diet itself is not safe. It is a very low carb, very low fat, and very low calorie regimen. People have experienced hair loss, fainting, cardiac, and other health problems from this diet. In spite of this, Heidi Diaz continues to sign on new members and has not changed her eating plan. She has no credentials authorizing her to dispense diet advice.

It is required to purchase a "lifetime" membership to have access to the website. Heidi Diaz has banned hundreds of members from the site for no reason, and without remedy, denying these members the benefits they paid for.

I'd never heard of a Very Low Carb/Calorie Diet (VLCD) before joining Kimkins.com and I learned the hard way... I lost half of my hair and came very close to having an eating disorder (ED). Kimkins if a fraud and scam... DO NOT JOIN IT. There are plenty of other diet sites out there that offer a healthy way of eating and losing weight. Try them!!
