HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have bought a couple of weapons from this shop and have used their gun-smithing services in the past. They have always been rude (for no apparent reason) and overpriced, but the shop is conveniently located and they get the job done. They don't seem to understand that they are not the only game in town.
I took a weapon in to be fixed (assault rifle) and informed them that it was a preban weapon with paperwork; totally legal. Without warning, an employee started SCREAMING at me about the "Roberti-Roos Act" (assault rifle ban) as if I had something to do with writing the law. It came out of nowhere and really took me by surprise. Several other customers stood by, dumbfounded by the sudden and inexplicable explosion. It fell to me, the customer, to calm the guy down as the rest of the employees stood by and did nothing. Clearly, this is not the first time this has happened (several of my colleagues profess to have had the same problem at this shop).
It's clear they are struggling under the tough laws as they have shortened their hours and their inventory is sparse at best. You would think they would be doing all they can to hold onto customers. Apparently not. This is one gun owner who will NEVER step into that shop again.
